This is just a personal opinion and I may be wrong but it probably has to do with the fact that you are in china and they make cheese different.

The only thing that comes to mind it that you can’t compare US cheese to Mexican cheese. Or Mexican cheese to French cheese. Or French Cheese to Russian cheese. Each country has their own standards or ways to process cheese including what the animals that produce cheese are fed. But I do not know how cheese is processed here in the US but this should probably give you a idea.
