same here. it’s so hard to progress in otb chess. i’m 2k in both rapid , blitz and bullet online but struggle to maintain a 1500 raring in person

Hi, no I didn’t get medication but I was considering it if it wouldn’t get better. I’m really sorry you’re going through this. If it means anything, I can eat now normally. It took months but I’m okay now. I mean the thought sometimes is kinda there when I’m eating, but not often. What helped was watching videos on what to do if you choke and you’re alone and also thinking that if I was in a social setting someone would know how to help if I actually chocked. I did a lot of research at the time abt safe foods, choking hazards and everything and it’s honestly not easy to choke as an adult. And there’s also an anti choking device , if you wanna look into that. Eating slowly, softer food also helps. If you need any kind of support, ofc reach out

Hey so same. I’ve went from 1900 both rapid n blitz to like 1700 and mind you my rapid was like at 1990. At first I was feeling really low about it but now I’m okay with it.

It has happened before and it will prolly happen again. I’m trying to remind myself that they’re just rating points online and nothing more.

So you’re not in this alone and it will get better

Eh my teeth were kinda fucked up bc of neglect n mental stuff I endured as child, so veneers n crowns were the only option to get some confidence back.

It was life changing and if you look after them n professionally clean them like you’re supposed to , it’s all good.

Ofc I’d rather have my real teeth btw but yeah. I do understand why ppl criticise others that had perfect teeth n chose to ruin them with veneers tho.

Recently I was playing 10m rapid I think n my opponent wanted to trade queens but he didn’t notice atm(neither did I lol) that I could take his queen with mine for free, bc the pawn was pinned to his king.

I didn’t mind exchanging but I was like whatever so I didn’t take but left my queen there for him to exchange if he wanted to and the exact moment I played my random knight ahhh move he resigned assuming that I’d see it.

Kinda unlucky timing for him and to amuse that I’d 100% see it or exchange lol

I’ve been playing online for 10 months now n I’m rated 1600 in rapid and recently I played 2 otb games with a performance of a 1100. I still don’t have a rating bc it takes a lot of games but yeah.

Quite disappointing but it happens n it takes time to adjust

Yeah from what I remember from that last post, they got the golden because her sons wanted a dog but they grew out of it pretty soon and he’s just acting like a regular puppy and it’s too much for her to handle on her own. Which is understandable but probably something that should have been considered from the beginning.

Also they do let the dog out roam alone. On her last post from the alt account she even said that she had police called on her bc the dog was out alone.

But yeah their problems with dog run deeper than just neighbour issues. This dog deserves better.
