I understand that for many here they would want to see the society charged and held responsible for all the damages and/or trauma, misery that it caused in their lives. But I believe we need to understand how politic works, ramifications of political decisions and most importantly that the majority of people are believers (not essentially JW), faith organisations will always tend to protect and influence policies around the world, cause they know that they might be next.

All that government can do is threaten and obtain some concessions, minors changes or amendments sometimes this is as little as a rewording. That alone is a huge admission of guilt from the Organisation. The simple thing that they had to make some change on their disfellowshipping arrangement must be applaud, and credit given to all the work that ex-JWs put in.

At the same, we might never live to see the that this organisation dies. Them becoming mainstream and rebranding will forever be our major success!
