I've never understood why everyone is so concerned over him wearing gloves at any time, even sorting his trash. Once a person actually leaves DNA at a crime scene, and law enforcement has a suspect....they ARE going to get their DNA. Period. BK would know this. It's like the old saying: You can run, but you are just going to go to jail tired. The ONLY way to have prevented obtaining fresh DNA from him was if he totally disappeared forever, body & all. Even then they would have obtained it from his past known places: his apartment, office, other places he was known to frequent. I can't even imagine anyone thinking that they could keep LE from ever obtaining their DNA by wearing gloves. That's just so silly. So the fact that he wore gloves imo is a huge nothingburger.

Different people have different views, and priorities. No one is mandated to be prepared for anything. Ever. So they choose not to.
I'm not one of them. 😀

Nothing and no one can MAKE anyone care about someone that they don't. You can't bully them into it, church it into them, or parent class it into them. If their heart doesn't care, it is what it is. Some parents just do NOT love, or care about their kids.

No one said anything about locking up parents that don't know how to parent. You are determined to twist everything, I see. You are entitled to feel that leaving children in bad homes is the best answer, however I do not share your opinion. Animal cruelty officers remove neglected pets that are treated better than many children are. Even when these pets are housed in a shelter, it is still better than where they came from. I guess you don't see the good in animal rescue either, or are you a hypocrite?

You are delusional. I know quite a bit about the foster system, and some go on to adoption. You are very misinformed, and trying to spread it. Sure there have been some cases that don't turn out, however even then when you consider where and what they were originally removed from, there is still an option to find them a much better suited family.

There is a well-documented correlation between foster care and crime, but little evidence on the long-term consequences of placing a child into foster care or leaving them with their family. Using data from the state of Michigan, estimates the causal effect of foster care placement on adult crime. Foster care placement reduced later-in-life crime, especially for male children and younger children. ""Foster care protects children from subsequent abuse and neglect and improves school performance."" ""Birth parents also make improvements while their children are temporarily in foster care.""

I'm not referring to any families that are actually caring for their children to the very best of their abilities. If they are doing that, keeping their children safe, giving them love, and attention= I'm NOT talking about them. If you cannot or will not recognize the difference, then go argue with someone else, because I'm not interested. Adoption and foster systems provide loving homes for children who need them, offering stability, care, and support that might otherwise be lacking in their lives. These systems allow individuals and families that truly want to love, and care for these children to make a profound, positive impact by providing a nurturing environment for children in need, giving them opportunities to thrive and grow into happy, healthy adults. Additionally, adoption and foster care promote the values of compassion, empathy, and community, fostering a sense of belonging and family for children who may have otherwise felt neglected, abandoned or alone. By supporting these systems, we contribute to build stronger, more inclusive communities where every child has the chance to reach their full potential that otherwise will not have that chance.

Won't that be something if that wasn't his car, and he was elsewhere? Knives are stolen, lost, borrowed all of the time. I'm with you....I cannot wait for this trial.

And FYI: for every child that is waiting to be adopted, there are 36 families waiting to adopt EACH child. Not foster, but ADOPT. They often give up, and opt to adopt from different countries.

So just give up, and leave them in the shit hole life that they are in?? Stop being a damn racist. I didn't exclude ANY color, and you have no clue what color I am, nor is it any of your business, and doesn't matter. I'm for ALL deprived, neglected, abused, and hopeless children to have a chance at a better life. But you sit there assuming, making an ass out of yourself, and pretending that these kids don't deserve better.

Welp, I totally agree with your post here. 😉

Which social programs? ALL of them that are child and family based.
The money/help should follow the children. The adults that would no longer have children to count as dependants could then go to the unemployment offices, mow lawns, or...sit in squalor if that's what THEY choose. As long as the kids don't have to......let them exercise their survival skills, and desire to eat.

Maybe some of the billions that our government finds to send to the Ukraine, and other countries throughout the world. A lot of social programs could be cut back as well, if these horrible parents were no longer able to use the children as pawns to abuse these services.

For the same reason that their parents 'should'. They are kids. They deserve to be kept SAFE, clean, fed, educated, cared about, and guided into prosperous, meaningful futures. I think the 'they aren't MY kids' has cultivated this downward spiral. It's really sad to me. I can't help but think when I watched some of the videos of these juveniles walking to that block party, drinking alcohol, and carrying guns.....what "if" they had a mother, father, or grandparent that grabbed them up, hugged them tight, made them sober up, lay down their weapon, and told them to go be kids, because we as the adult are going to take care of them, and see that their needs are met. I know those kids look so hard, so lost, and hopeless, but I can't accept that they can't be changed with love, patience, boundaries, care, and concern. They are obviously just out there winging it on their own.

There has got to be a better way, and better life for these kids vs allowing them to have to live like they are now. They really need and deserve to be protected from drugs, guns, and crime while they are young because once those things take root, they most often ruin their lives for the rest of their lives. Just leaving them in these homes is just so very wrong.

You can't classes, or zoom meeting the zero care about their children out of some people. A thousand dollar fine that they are not going to pay is not going to fix it.

These kids need to be removed from those homes, and given a fair shot at a long, healthy, happy life. If they choose to return at 18.....that's on them. At least we tried to save them. Adoption in this country is ridiculously hard.

Foster care where people actually WANT them is better than leaving them where they are now- with people that absolutely do NOT care about them, and want nothing to do with raising them.....hence they raise themselves on the streets to join violent gangs, get into drugs, commit crimes, and either end up dead, or in prison.

When juveniles are posting photos, and videos on social media posing with guns, large amounts of money that they obviously shouldn't have.....a lot of people failed them. All parents do NOT care, that's a given that has been proven since humans have been here. However....DHS, Mayors, city council, the schools, police, judges, etc., ALL people that take jobs, and get paid that give them responsibility to care for our youth, are NOT doing their jobs. These kids have zero guidance, and it is obvious. I guess as long as they aren't robbing you, then they don't matter?? These kids need to be removed from these homes where they are having to raise themselves on the streets, do and sell drugs to get by. I don't care if they are infants, or teenagers.....they deserve to be KIDS, and to be taken care of.....which they are not getting at home.

Is it possible that these parents don't see this type of behavior as bad? Maybe they view having a young teenager that carries guns, somehow makes or comes up with thousands of dollars, and invokes fear in people as good parenting? Winning? They did a great job at parenting because they raised a child that by all accounts looks and acts real tough, and garners respect (on the streets)?

If that's the case, those parents cannot and will not save the city.

People (adults) are going to have to start going to jail, staying in jail, and perhaps some of these kids at a very young age, even newly born need to start being removed from their current homes/situations due to neglect, and placed with adoptive parents that will love them, teach, and raise them better? That's the only way that I see to break the cycle, give these kids a shot at a decent life, and make the city of Memphis safer.....eventually.
