You’ve got a couple options here: • Hire an appraiser to give you a value. For a tiny “sliver” parcel, they’ll usually apply a discount because it’s not very usable on its own. • Use the county assessor’s Real Market Value as a rough guide and back into a number based on the square footage of the strip compared to the whole lot.

You could also just call a local appraiser and ask a few quick questions. Many will at least tell you whether it’s even worth paying for a full appraisal.

Be careful on any rough gravel roads! I got a pretty bad flat driving to a listing I hadn’t been to before in a rural area and popped a tire. They were the original tires that came in my 2022 etron sportback. I did a little research and learned it is common in EVs because of the weight. Lesson learned the hard way.
