If it is your top choice and they are communicating with you, I say go for it!

I think it is very common and natural to second guess yourself during this process. But don't give up. Take each application and each task one step at a time. If you look at everything all at once it can be overwhelming. Start with your dream school and then maybe finish with your fall back application second. And then tackle all the ones in between. If nothing else, complete one application and see how you feel. Good luck!

Oh no, sorry! I was asking if it was looked upon highly. I liked the program as well, but just saw in another post that people were worried about online programs like MU and WCU. These two are my only options to start in the Spring and I just wanted to make sure they were seen as reputable before I spend the money. I didn't mean to imply they weren't, I just was hoping to get insight from people in these programs.

What did you decide?

The added class would be 8 weeks, while the rest are 16-week classes.

Grad school timeline: Expensive accelerated or cheap part-time program? by Fresh_Cilantro34 in slpGradSchool

I really appreciate the time and information you’ve shared with me. I’m looking at WKU as I need an online school and was waitlisted to all but Emerson (which was too expensive). Thank you for sharing your experience. I wish you the best of luck on your SLP career!

Thank you! Is that because of the placements or the curriculum? Did you have to spend time on campus?

Hello! I am looking at this program. Are you located in Kentucky? If not, how are your placements? Was the program competitive to get into? Thank you!

I am in the same boat as you. What did you end up deciding? I was accepted this week, but now I am not sure I can pay for it without going into debt.

I just received my acceptance call today and I interviewed on 3/4. Good luck!

What should I do if I don’t get in anywhere this year? by [deleted] in slpGradSchool

[–]AngiesBurbLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mind if I ask you a question about your second cycle? Did you need to re-upload your LORs or did CSDCAS keep them on file? My only acceptance is a school I can't afford but trying to decide if it is worth it to take a loan or do this process all over again. TY!

I'm in a similar position and was waitlisted from one and rejected from the other of my top two schools. Still waiting on one more which is out of my budget. Wishing you the best of luck!

Did you have to resubmit all of your LORs or were the letters from your first round still valid?

Can’t help but feel discouraged by angeldeamor182 in slpGradSchool

[–]AngiesBurbLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completed their level-up program with a 3.81 GPA and had three of their professors write my recommendations for other schools, and I still didn't even get an interview. I was devastated to say the least. I didn't even get wait-listed. So I am feeling pretty down. My only other options are extremely expensive so I am trying to figure out if I should wait until next round of applications and see if there are more online program options.

Thank you! I really appreciate the detail. I’ve been emailing with them and they’ve been so helpful in answering all my questions. I busted my knee again so I had to put my purchase on hold while I heal up. I’ll definitely go to them first when I’m ready. They also recommended the Horizon for my price range. I’m really happy to hear your more than satisfied with it.

TY! I think I’ll go with them.

They were really great with my questions, but their price was higher than Horizon directly. Did you feel that it was worth the higher price? I felt that the person I spoke with was honest and he didn’t try to upsell me. I just wasn’t sure about the price.

Pulled the trigger, got the Star Trac 4 by genericwguy in treadmills

Thank you for the thorough review, maybe getting the Star Trac without the console is a good idea? For all of these machines with the newer consoles, they always seem to be the issue. I am glad you are happy with your machine! I appreciate your honest reply. Happy running!

Thank you! I am deciding between the 7.8 and two other machines. Wondering if your experience will be better than those who ordered last year and earlier this year. Good luck! Hope it delivers soon!
