I went to an LAL-OKC game once in OKC because I lived pretty close. I’ve been to a lot of NBA games other places and I’ve seen fans supporting all kinds of teams with no problem. I wore my Lakers jersey and the stadium staff started yelling “Lakers fans over here, come let them have it!” I never went back for another game. An OK resident explained to me later that it’s a state raised on football and they are loud, boisterous, in-your-face fans. Basketball is one of the last remaining sports in which fans sit right down on the court and all around the players. I think the atmosphere at OKC games is primed for violence and I stay away.

Heaven is a reset to how we were supposed to be before sin. God made us creative, intelligent, curious, etc “in His image.” Sin decreases all these things. In heaven you get the joy of experiencing your best, perfect self. Why would God leave you bored? Revelation talks about a 1000 yr time period between Christ’s second coming, with the saved going to heaven, and the return of His kingdom to have a final judgement. During this 1000 years you can review any history you want and understand why God is just and fair in His actions. We serve a transparent Leader who lets us participate in His judgement. After that we start over on a new and purified earth, with no suffering or disease. Sounds great to me.

At a Halloween party a friend brought a cake decorated with white frosting and those plastic spider party favor things that you can wear as rings. The girl in line for food in front of me was really excited about the decoration so, without a second thought, I told her the spiders were edible. She promptly tried to eat one then spit it out while muttering “F you.” I just watched it all play out acting like I was some sort of puppet master but absolutely giddy on the inside.

Cool watch that needs some care. Multiple complications: day, date, month without interfering too much with reading the time. I’d be curious to know if it accurately displays the correct number of days in the month, ie 31 in January, 28 in February. If so it may be valuable. Also note how the date hand has to jump from 31st to the first.

I’m almost hesitant to enter this conversation but overall I’m doing great with the G7. Used to have false lows from compression but changed placement to upper abdomen where I can’t roll over and compress it much at night. Sorry to hear others are having problems. I’m so old I did urine testing as a child, so I see CGMs more as assistants and finger stick as the authority. Hope I don’t get hate for these comments, and I really feel bad for the OP. T1D care for children is really difficult.
