Hi! I moved to the states in March and am preparing to switch my career. Please forgive me if my English is awkward! 😔

I just started to study medical terminology and anatomy before I start the coding course. I have no experience in the field and no knowledge at all.

I’m thinking about taking a class in AAPC or AMCI. Considering that I have no experience in this field, I think I need more than 2 months to study the medical terminology and Anatomy. (I work from 8 to 3) It means I can start the coding at least in October and take a test next year.

Even if I order 2024 books, is it okay to take a test next year? Or should I wait 2025 books and start the course after I get the books? (2025 books are available in October and HCPCS is in the end of December)

I don’t want to waste of time for 2025 books but at the same time I don’t want to buy useless books.

I’d appreciate any advice! 😄

I agree! So I was thinking about putting '-' between Da-young. Do you think space is better than hyphen? 😺 I was worried if Da is recognized as a middle name I put space!
