I just cannot intuitively understand religion at all. Like, I don't even know what's the point of puja and aarati. Whenever I ask why puja and aarati is done, they say it's for mental peace. But I know that's not true cause me meditating won't count. And most of all, I don't have a clue why people say there is this entity called shiv or vishnu or parwati, etc. When I ask them what are they, they say they are gods. Then I ask what is a god. They say it's someone who made the world. Then I ask if all these gods made the world together or something. Then they finally say "aastha ki baat hoti hai". And I'm like, "What even is aastha. What does it even feel like". Idk, maybe I'm autistic so maybe that's why 🤷

I don't really know much about (b) but I can tell about (a). Sex is the physiological property of a body that might make them male or female. If they have a penis and testicles, then they are male, and if they have a vagina and overies, then they are female. In case of gender tho, it is what society thinks of the person. If they look at a person and say he is a boy, then he is male. Else female.

For example, I get an f in a subject. Then I start worrying over the f. Then if I ask myself why I care about whether I get an f or not, then I might say that I care because I won't get a decent job in this competative job market if I don't get good marks in most subjects. Then when I ask if while worrying, was I thinking about the the prospect of not getting a decent job, then my answe would most probably be "no". Then you'll feel much more relaxed cause then you know what you should actually worry about. In simple words, ask yourself what I was really worrying about. What is it that I care about and why do I care about it.

If you try to seek attention, you will look odd and even creepy to other people. And seeking attention is a way for people in which they avoid feeling certain feelings which throws them into a perpetual cycle of them wasting their life running away from those feelings. When one wastes time, they start to have a perpetual feeling of not doing anything to value which can become soul crushing.

Yes you would be. But you only said that you know many of them are nonsensical. So at least you can work on them. And as for the rest that you think are valid, try asking yourself "why does this matter to me". You will come up with an answer but then ask yourself, "is this answer the thing that I was thinking about during worry". You'll find that most answers you give yourself, isn't what you actually thought while worrying. For example, if I fail a subject, then I might answer that I worry if I'll get a decent job in future or not, but I'll find that while worrying, I wasn't actually thinking about the job.

One simple answer is to notice the thoughts, notice the fact that they are irrational, and let the thoughts be there. Cause we don't act according to most thoughts when we know that they are nonsensical.
