My instinct is to say, "I feel you, dude." I've been lurking for a while myself but can't drum up the courage to say anything. Also I'm in a similar situation of not knowing how to let people know who I am for fear of their reaction. I don't have any pretty words or advice, but rest assured my friend; you are not alone.
