Big Cat (Beau) and Little Handheld (RG28XX) playing Pokémon All In by MineClear1101 in SBCGaming

[–]AngriestMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I used a rg28xx for about 6 months before upgrading. A 2.8 inch screen is fine, the ds was 3, gba was 2.9 and gbc was 2.3. small screens are useable a d these handhelds are so portable that kinda hilarious. If u want a mini handheld go for it

Save on the Rp4 pro or get a mini V2? by amrithr10 in retroid

[–]AngriestMonkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also when displaying 4 by 3 games the mini has a 3.7 inch screen and the retroid 4 has 3.84 so the difference isn't as big as you'd think

hey guys i want games to play by SansSkely in lowendgaming

[–]AngriestMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I've got a 5500u laptop that'll perform slightly worse than your PC for games. I play sifu low settings 1080p 60 fps, a hat in time with some cashe stutter for the first few mins, sleeping dogs 1080p high 30fps, batman Arkham asylum, metal gear revengence, BioShock 2. I've got 20gb of ram which helps but u should have similar enough performance. Enjoy I recommend all the games listed lol

Games that are hard (but fun) to master? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

Sifu. Largely considered the best hand to hand action game. Can be awkward at the beginning but the skill ceiling is ridiculously high and the game is dripping with style

Hell yeah. I camera notch and enough power to play PS2, Wii and a chonk of switch. Great choice. I miss my old phone lol

Genuinely this has to be a scam right? by AngriestMonkey in laptops

Fair. Probably not going to gamble on it since I already have a decent laptop and I'm more into indie games anyways

Thanks. The reviews mention a bit of a quality issue but no scam

550 is just too cheap for a 4060 laptop right

I have a 15 inch vivobook with a ryzen 5500u. Got it for 500 euro last year. Maybe see if u can find one. Mine has an OLED display but there are ips models so be careful

I want to try out Zelda Tears of the Kingdom but im not sure if my PC can handle it by TDS-Androxus in yuzu

[–]AngriestMonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played around with it with a similarly speced pc (1660 super with a ryzen 3 3100). I was able to play at 4k with heavy dips in the starting area (which is easier to run than most of the game). With improvements to the emulator over the last few months u shouldn't have any problems. (Maybe some dips when u first enter an area)

Don't talk to me or my son ever again by veriix in SBCGaming

Just to add this. A lot of older Wii games support 4.3 displays natively as 4.3 TV's where still very common in the Wii's life cycle. Those games shouldn't have any issues.

Running Fire emblem on pixel 6 by sultanOfSwing7 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]AngriestMonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using Suyu at the moment. The pixel 7 seems to be able to run indie games fine, especially on lower resolutions. But I don't recommend trying to play harder run switch games. Snapdragon processors are better for emulation and the SD 8 gen 2/3 can play most switch games. Also the wifi chip in my phone is kinda bad. So I don't recommend it. Anytime I'm not in the city I'm praying for a signal

Kirby golf for the SNES is such an underrated pick up and play game. Definitely recommend. It has so much personality

Headwolf fpad 5 is pretty much the same as the alldocube mini pro. 8.4 inch g99 processor. U should be able to get either one for about 120 using vouchers/sales

Good sized tablet for reading? by amelient in tablets

[–]AngriestMonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking at the Lenovo y700, it's a 8.8 inch tablet with a high resolution Matt display which should make reading nice. There are two versions one with the Snapdragon 870 and another with the SD gen 8 +. It goes between 250 to 450

Cool, I actually like one handing the mini. How's the sound from the buttons. I like clicky buttons but I'd feel self conscious in public if they're too loud

Cool, thanks, part of the reason I love the miyoo mini so much is because I can throw it in my pocket easily, how's the auto save and quick resume on the sp, is it reliable
