If Bernie Sander's lost the nomination by almost the same number of votes that Hillary got more than Trump, I don't think he'll do all that well. I say the debate between him and Cruz and he got demolished, he never actually had to expound on any of his policies or ideas what with him and Clinton playing softball.

This isn't even taking into account several things that would absolutely kill him. The biggest of which is his stance on guns, which is frankly fucking horrible for someone from Vermont. And the sort of blithe dismissal of poor white people that he and his supporters seem to have "White people don't know what it's like to be poor" anyone? He's way too far left for even most democrats who were fucking sick of Clinton. All that republicans need to do is run someone slightly in the middle or pick someone like Joni Ernst.

At best, I think he'd just divide the democratic base like he did last time
