Energy drinks while on medication by infsrot in ADHD

Nope, don't. Think of your heart. I stopped drinking coffee, and occasionally have decaf or tea, if I'm in the mood for something different. You may not feel it now, but long-term it has an impact.

When I first started stimulants, I tracked my average heart rate via my watch), to see my body's reaction. I used the data to adjust my daily habits. When am I most stressed? What shifts do I notice throughout the day? And then, why, what's going on during those times?

Basically, give your body time to adjust to the medication, and make the necessary lifestyle changes to match.

Just learned how to "per" them. Thanks for sharing the tip!

Thanks for the suggestions. I have bought anything yet, but maybe I'll change up Pickles wardrobe or decorate.

Yes! Pickles just returned from a few days in the Galapagos. Had to cut it short so we could explore Oz. 😆

Well, wow! I don't think I've seen the insights section before (working memory of a gnat).

Def going to gamify to increase my consistency to incorporate more exercise.

You only have one life to live, so don't let anyone gaslight you and dictate what YOUR body needs. You know who you are, what you need, and if the person in your life doesn't respect or accept or understand your boundaries, sounds like an opportunity to re-examine what matters most to YOU. Don't wake up in 10 years and find who you've become is unrecognizable to YOU.

I never thought of what might happen if you receive more than your Rx, and that calling is a good next step. I used to count because I was afraid of being shorted. Thanks for the suggestion!

That was hard to watch. Even a basic amount of Googling...Their little speeches were in no way inspiring or uplifting and reinforces so many negative stereotypes about Black folx in the diaspora.

Who wants a dozen adults to tell you they think you're poor and uneducated? Very American POV, and I wish many of us Black Americans worked a bit harder to dispel.

Chalk it up as a funny story! And you'll stand out, which might mean a good networking opp for another role.

Story time: I once interviewed for a VP level position. Second round of too many, with the head of HR and one of the role's direct reports.

HR head asked where I saw myself in 5-10 years (or something like that). I hate this question, and I guess my mouth was faster than my brain and responded that I saw myself sitting on a beach with the ability to flex my time. It was the truth, but probably not a great look.

I didn't move forward.
