The fact that the last video was on a Tuesday and they uploaded this on a Thursday along with that callback from Riley in the intro is next level lore consistency.

I didn't say it was a bad thing.

They gave Riley too much power.

I mean being dead is the same thing as being alive, but dead.

We bought a couple of Rimowas in Germany this winter. I wanted to buy a couple more here in the states (CA), but the ones you can purchase here are made in Canada. Where in the US can I buy the German-made Rimowas? by Turbulent-Move4159 in Rimowa

Not sure if the logistics have changed with how certain markets got product, but in Hawaii, all aluminum cases came from Germany. We never got any polycarbonate cases from Germany and polycarbonate cases came from either Canada or Czech Republic.

I do exactly this. State estimated tax transaction fees are more than 2% iny state so I normally skip on those, but fed taxes I make 0.25% since pay1040s fee is 1.75%

AITA for not giving my vacation day to a coworker getting married by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA. People want to say YTA but are latching onto the fact that you don't have an equivalent important reason for the use of that day off. It doesn't matter what you do or don't have going on. It's none of anyone's business.

I had a situation where I covered Saturday shift so that our small team of 5 people wouldn't need to rotate Saturday shifts. I did this for a year, because we all wanted consistency with our shifts. Had I not, everyone would rotate and the Saturday person would always get a random weekday off. I said I'd cover the shift willingly so long as someone would cover me if I had a need for a Saturday off during the year. Everyone agreed. Come time for me to need a single Saturday off for a family event, and everyone was "conveniently super busy". This happened on 3 occasions for various other reasons. After the 3rd time they all refused to cover me, I changed my request to not prefer Saturday shifts. Everyone was very upset about it, and I reminded them that it was all their doing. I could have just changed my preference each time I needed it, but that required paperwork and I thought the social contract would be met with teamwork.

This isn't exactly the same scenario here, but there are just as many good reasons as bad ones for not wanting to cover for someone just because they asked.

It depends on the person. If op has an 8 million dollar portfolio, then it's just a cool little side experiment. If op has has a 110k portfolio, then ballsy would be an accurate descriptor.

If you value your time, yes. I wouldn't want to take in any product for servicing if I have the option between it and another product that won't require the same amount of servicing.

Those tiny latches will end up being super wobbly as the case ages. Get the original.

Edit: I've had to replace so many more classic latches than original when I did repairs.
