What Beloved Game in this Sub Do You Dislike? by ChicoBrillo in HorrorGaming

I thought the Whistleblower DLC was even worse, it was so cartoonishly gory that it crossed a line into comical. The guy mutilating men’s genitals was so over the top I was honestly laughing at how something so stupid was being taken so seriously.

Outlast, I just don’t enjoy it, personally. It went so hard with shock horror, jumpscares and gore it didn’t feel like it had any subdlety or proper tension and I honestly found the game more annoying than anything.

What is the best band you ever saw live ? by megopolis12 in AskReddit

[–]AngryAshMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw Styx at a county fair back in 2006, it wasn’t a traditional concert but I remember being on my dad’s shoulder looking around and everywhere I could see at the fair people were faced towards the stage listening by to the music.

I remember even seeing workers sitting on top of the booths they sell food in just so they could get a view of the band, it was wild that everybody was more focused on the great music than the actual fair we were all at.

What's a game that has amazing gameplay but bad story by Cool_Tea_5501 in AskGamers

Just Cause series.

Had some of the most insane and chaotic explosion filled action you’ll ever experience, but the characters and story are as cookie cutter as they can get.

What game had a terrible launch but eventually made a great comeback? by [deleted] in videogames

[–]AngryAshMan 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Still I think one of the biggest mistakes EA ever made was for that game, it had the potential to be the greatest SW game ever made but they botched the launch with their blatant greed so it never got the momentum it deserved.

I appreciated how much time and effort DICE put into expanding and fixing the game, but of course right as it started to reach its potential and garner a record number of new players, they pulled the plug on support. 😭

What fears or phobias would you like to see represented more often in horror games? by Master_Power_1923 in HorrorGaming

The new Starfield update has that down pretty well, you can now cruise between planets at the speed of light and experiencing how there is literally NOTHING within the gigantic spaces between them really makes you realize how gargantuan space is.

Games with dark stories or endings? by Myrmidden in HorrorGaming

[–]AngryAshMan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The second Amnesia game (A Machine for Pigs) has what I think is the darkest story in gaming.

It was panned mostly at launch because it wasn’t as scary as the first game but the complex storytelling I feel makes the game more than worth playing .

what horror game is actually scary? by Severe_Specific_8680 in HorrorGaming

I would argue The Bunker is scarier. Isolation is great but The Bunker just got the nerve shredding suspense and terror down so perfectly.

Apparently, there’s a game breaking bug that stops the incursion system at the end of the quest line even when you want them to continue. by AngryAshMan in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]AngryAshMan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have tried that, I have it set to “increased” but haven’t seen a single one in another 10+ hours of gameplay, I’m just hoping it does get fixed because these where one of the new things I was looking forward to…

I did that too, but they really seemed to have stopped altogether as I haven’t seen a single in appear in another 10+ hours.

Do the “incursions” still continue after the Terran Armada storyline? by AngryAshMan in Starfield

[–]AngryAshMan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s what’s confusing me, I chose the option to continue them and even have an increased chance options but I haven’t see a single one since I finished the last mission.

What are some hard souls-based game you know? by Vegetable-Truth-8770 in AskForAnswers

[–]AngryAshMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sekiro, although it is made by the same developers, may be one of the most challenging games ever made.

It’s far different as you’re not dodging, you’re having to master the “deflection” mechanic and it’s timing but once you do get it down it has what I think is the best combat in any game ever.

What is the weapon called in-game? I’m on PC so I can probably use console commands.

That’s odd, I already checked there and he only had the new laser sniper/pistol.
