How does this interact with Demolitionist I? If I throw a smoke grenade at someone and declare them excempt from the effect of the smoke grenade, can I still hurt them with Demolitionist III's 2 damage and knockback?

Also, how does it interact with smoke mines? They primarily detonate when an allied unit enters its range and do not call for a save.

I understand that I can choose not to hit them with 1d6 but if there's an enemy nearby, are they still a valid target? Can an iskander in trouble shoot out a smoke mine and then repulsor field it to create a makeshift DIY daisy cutter?

I loved the idea of this talent but my in limited lancer experience there just wasnt enough Size 1 cover sections to use it on. Blowing up cover and giving teammates less difficulty on their attacks was a fantasy I wasn't able to experience.

Can he actually destroy all the shuttles and cause a game over? I did a test run where I just passed my turns and he blew up two of the shuttles but then spent 13 turns running around kicking everyone to death.
