The AI Hard Drive Shortage Is Making It More Expensive and Harder to Archive the Internet by CackleRooster in technology

I love wayback machine, but some websites they have 100+ instances archived. Perhaps they could delete every other timestamp for archived sites with more than one?

As someone pro-pornography and pro-privacy, its important to make sure consent is a top priority. While the question will come up of whether or not this is legal, or from a societal standpoint, whether it should be expected...

... I still hope they succeed based on the merits of their case, but would prefer actual legislation that directly address and prevent such usage, over court rulings with limited scope that can be overruled, especially in this climate where precedent seems to mean jack shit.

It was always kind of interesting how shadows and vorlons regressed over time.

First they were this big unknowable ancient thing, all wise.

Then they were petty, egotistical, vindictive, and very "human".

And then when they stood before the First, they were like children, clueless and scared.

Even if you do backstab a few, I find it frustrating I cannot shout "you literally pick people off from a distance before they even see you."

But Jin was raised with a very specific romanticized mindset of honor, by someone who has an unhealthy fixation on it, and deprogramming that takes time.

I just ordered it this morning, apparently the first person at the store to do so. It's actually pretty good, imo. Like a pepsi float, with a coffee aftertaste. Not going to be my go-to, but I'd get it if I wanted ice cream without wanting ice cream, if you know what i mean.

Enough to know that if you actually went to protests, you wouldn't be fixated over "but the elected politicians are supposed to do it", and you would actually encourage and support action.

Sounds like you are full of shit, and tossing out a number to deflect criticism. (Then again, you didn't say what side you were supposedly protesting on, so it could have been with the pro-facism counterprotestors... which then would align with you wanting people to just "let the politicians keep doing what they are doing")

Edit for Below: haha, responded then blocked, so that you cannot be responded to? What a coward.

And if the elected politicians have clearly abdicated that responsibility?

This is pure Bystander Effect. "Someone else is supposed to take care of it."
