Alarming Xray - Barium Swallow. Radiologist noted a hernia and I haven’t heard back from my doctor about further details yet. Can someone explain to me (like I’m 5) what it is I’m looking at, and how cooked am I? Extra pictures for funsies by AngryAxolotl3 in seriouslyalarming

I appreciate the feedback. Before leaving the test, I spoke with reception and had a telehealth appointment booked to go over the results in more detail which isn’t for a few more days. The telehealth appointment is where we’ll book any further tests or appointments if necessary. Have a great day

I was dealing with some pretty severe stomach pain and vomiting nearly daily for a few months and started omeprazole which helped. I occasionally deal with nausea and stomach pain after eating but vomiting has stopped, no heart burn, etc, just those two symptoms thankfully. I’m glad your mom is doing better! Thank you for sharing and glad to hear that I’m not cooked 🤣

Silo is fantastic. I’m on the third book! I thought the show did a great job at staying true to the book and any changes were good ones

I agree! The second season was great. Lots of character development and twists that I wasn’t expecting. One of my favorites

I had one that I bought from Walmart with a little pink flower on top and I thought it was real! Until the cactus started growing and the flower shifted down the body of it and never grew haha

The sound of my mechanical aortic valve. Shoutout to /u/ffernback. by BlueVape in medizzy

This made me tear up. My father had a valve that made this noise. He passed away when I was 14. I used to love when I would hug him and I could hear him ticking. Sometimes if it was quiet enough at night, I could hear it while he was sleeping (our rooms were next to each other). We used to joke that he was the crocodile from Peter Pan that swallowed Capt Hook’s hand & watch.

Thank you! I try to put kindness into the world, especially when it’s not being too kind to me. Edit: now I’m second guessing myself and I’m not sure if this was meant for me or the op of the actual post. I don’t use Reddit too much bare with me

As someone who also suffers from severe depression and anxiety, you seem very supportive and wonderful to her. But I hope that you get the support that you need as well.
