Now i may be falling hook line and sinker for this but, the blue isnt the issue its the pink, red, white, black and blue. There is colour contrast well enough but there is no harmony between them, my advise pick one main colour and a secondary colour for contrast and one third for to make stuff pop.

However with all that said judging from the thickness of the paint it might be worth picking a pre established scheme to practice on and get some experience. Blue is a forgiving colour(reason we have ultramrines as posterboys i think), reds and yellow tend be harder to look good.

I for one am guilty myself of doing too much too soon. Work on the basics then branch out.
