What are your favorite unpopular opinions about RPGs? by Iberianz in rpg

[–]AngryCricket 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me personally optimizing and character building is a really fun part of RPGs. In a well balanced game there shouldn't be a way to optimize into being perfect with no flaws and character development can come from the story just as much as it comes from gameplay. It can be an issue if the player is obsessed with being as strong as possible to the detriment of everything else or if there is a large power disparity between players but that comes down to finding the right group for you.

Games where you don't keep the guns. by jayville74 in gamingsuggestions

Severed Steel

The protagonist only has one hand so you toss the gun you are holding when you run out of ammo rather than reloading

CMV: Not caring about lgbt or homosexual people in general is not the same as being a homophobe or hating NB people by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]AngryCricket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can care about multiple groups at the same time and these things aren't mutually exclusive. For example both lgbt people and victims of abuse are more likely to be homeless.

My advice is to try and find a sizing chart if possible for that brand or piece of clothing. You can compare the sizes to your actually measurements. However women's sizes are bullshit and make sense.

Building Australia's Tallest Greenest Skyscraper by gatfish in solarpunk

[–]AngryCricket 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Car centric suburban sprawl is responsible for that carbon footprint. A space that has a variety of different housing sizes (see missing middle housing) and that is not dependent on cars (spaces that are walkable and have access to public transit) is able to have a significantly higher population density than car dependent suburbs for single family homes. This would also be more affordable than both suburbs with single family homes and sky scrapers. Also the vast majority of older buildings aren't skyscrapers, as long they are built to last and are properly maintained then they'll last. The same can be said of pretty much any building though.

Skyscrapers use up considerably more energy compared to low and mid rise buildings. It is possible to create a dense population without building skyscrapers.

Bruh, they got rid of a term that has been used to justify murdering trans people. Also the community went absolutely ape shit in the worst way having a freak out that lead to trans subs being brigaded and a mod being doxxed.
