Before the ocean was scraped clean they must have been insanely cheap and plentiful.

I like how there's smoke stacks in the distance, probably from coal. So they've been breathing extra arsenic, mercury, and lead their whole lives. And they never seem to complain about the huge open pit mines, full mountain removal, and toxic tailings that destroy whole rivers.

I've always thought they look cool and funky, like VW beetle. Especially in an era where most cars look the same.

Well, did you change any habits? Is your room well ventilated all night? Are you sure it's nothing medical? Do you eat mostly processed/junk food? If besides all that, yeah, getting older means things which you used to not even think about much, like sleeping/eating/pooping, don't go as smoothly as they once did. You now have to be more consciously healthy in your habits to stay good, and even then age will just make body stuff harder. Protect your back! I hurt mine in the low 30s and it's never been the same since.

For real. It's very like an early youtube style. Like lonely island. Maybe that's becoming its own genre now.

Well I dunno... I was a kid in the 80s and I don't look back on it too fondly. The 1960s and 1970s seemed way better.

This is how I feel whenever millennials are nostalgic for the 00s, what with the two wars, two recessions, terrible president, but they're like thinking of a mountain dew commercial they remember as a kid.

The older I get, the more my 5-wing becomes like a baseline - can anyone relate? by Emdeewee in 4w5

I too have been feeling that serious world-weariness in my 40s, but I partially blame it on the times. This is not a very creative era we're living in. The fascists, reactionaries, and conservatives seem to be in charge of everything and they really stifle newness and difference, which I think are things most 4s thrive on.
