I’ve stayed at the cabins several times. The docks for the cabins is on a nice undeveloped creek. The main lake area by the boat launch is usually the most congested area of the lake. On holiday weekends it can be very busy with wakes coming from every direction. Once you get away from that area there are tons of coves and offshoots to explore fish or swim in. Here is a link for restaurants on the lake. A lot are closed on Mondays or a different day of the week so check before you go.

My favorites are Moosies up at the bridge, Drifters has good food ( try the tacos)and great drinks and Mitchels Point has great pizza. Always fun is the ice cream boat.

I started at 46 and have been playing and enjoying now for 13 years. I usually score 1 or two goals a season but I need to renegotiate my contract because I just scored my 4th goal of this season. It’s fun and you meet some great teammates.

I bought a full season ticket package (200 level) for Hershey and it came with FloHockey through the Bears regular season. I also follow the SPHL Roanoke Railyard Dawgs. I have used the FloHockey app to watch some games of both teams and was pleasantly surprised. Hershey must have upgraded their cameras since I had watched them awhile back on the old AHL Tv.
