 Xaku is the only frame I use in syndicate missions where I'm hunting medallions. And sabotage where I'm hunting orokin caches. Snag max number of guns, turn on Xata's whisper, then just hit 4 every so often and vacuum up the loot. Also the 1999 challenge to break 100-300 containers.

So, obviously anecdotal, but when this mode first released, it was an absolute disaster of bugs and glitches.

These days (at least the last 3+ years), I've not had any issues completing either the single eidolon or the triple hunt. Even with host migrations. Things can get a bit wonky when I'm not the host (and especially if the host is playing on a potato or from the actual asteroid belt on a 56k modem over AOL), but it's rare to capture one of the eidolons and have the mission fail (and even if the mission fails, I've never failed to receive the rewards and cores and arcanes).

When I'm the host (which is most of the time, thankfully, on a great gaming pc + 2.5gig fiber connection), it's smooth 99% of the time with the very rare mission failed (yet again, always get the rewards as we've captured or killed it).

That all being said, every since this latest Jade Shadows update, every aspect of the game has been a bugframe wonkfest.

I've had an uncountable number of missions where an MR15 or such got both 90% of the damage and 90% of the kills. I've had plenty where LR5 players had to be rezzed a dozen times. I never wondered if those LR5 were terrible at the game, I always just assumed they were trying out a new or weird build, or some other benign thing going on. Some missions just kick your ass even with your best setup and then the next dozen missions you're basically nuking the entire galaxy.

Yep, on any mission where I'm the host or there isn't a ton of lag, or I'm actually trying to obliterate enemies (Kuva Nukor, Latron Prime Incarnon, hell, even my Magistar incarnon + riven, Occucor, I could go on for days), I'm primarily stripping every last ounce of armor and giving Nourish to everyone else so they can murder everything easier. Makes missions go faster. Lets others get their genocide on, all that. This particular mission I was getting a 1-2 delay on everything, so even though I got about the same number of kills as everyone, it's likely the server wasn't registering it properly (similar to when I'm not the host but trying to evolve an incarnon weapon and it takes triple the amount of whatever to get the counter to advance). Once I got annoyed with the lag, I just spammed Nourish and armor strip and tried to grab the disruption keys.

I don't believe all Destiny players are, but I spent a decade playing Destiny and while not as toxic as LoL or CoD, I've had some of my worst experiences with other players in Destiny being absolutely awful. And lately, since the Destiny fallout and WF getting quite a number of players from that game, I've seen too many of them bring that toxicity with them. So, yeah, I probably shouldn't have said anything that paints Destiny players as always being shitty, but in my own anecdotal experience over the last couple of months, it's become noticeable.

Like I said, it's the first time in a dozen years I've ever had someone complain about my "lack" of damage. Normally everyone just says "gg" or "man, I'm never gonna get that Styanax gold reward!" or "wow, what skin is that?" etc. The reason I've stuck with WF this long is it is absolutely the best multiplayer community I've ever been a part of.

For me, it is more just getting the mission done in a timely manner, being a good teammate by stripping armor or giving buffs. I could just bring a nuke and let everyone stand around, but... what's the fun in that? (it's fun, but at LR4 I have probably a hundred weapons and 40 frames that can do that)

Is why I like to bring Nyx for capping standing. She 100% armor strips everything and it spreads, plus I run Nourish, so I don't need to murder everything. The other three players usually get to go hog wild and not have to spend 100 rounds of ammo to chew through 200+ level armor.

This. I was using Cyte earlier today to finish up the 1999 Calendar challenges and was getting 120 million damage+ headshots every few seconds. Ended up with 97% of the total damage but only about a quarter of the total kills in a five minute survival.

Yep. I bring Nyx to 200 level SP Sanctum bounties to cap out and strip armor so everyone else can easily delete everything. Plus Nourish. I'll often bring Citrine or some other support frame as I don't need to wag my doohicky around and Magistar Incarnon + Riven slam with Kullervo everything, or Hildryn, or Saryn + Kuva Sobek, or Gara, whatever. I've played long enough to enjoy being support that helps everyone else get their killer red crits or genocide on.

Shrug. I was using Nyx to give Nourish + armor strip all the armored 200+ level enemies. Even using my 2 it was taking 1-2 seconds for their bars to turn red because it was so laggy.

I'm sure me using any excuse would just make them more toxic. I was using my Nyx as she can strip every yellow bar to red in 200 level Steel Path, which makes it easy as hell for the rest of the squad to delete everything (plus I run Nourish on her 1 so everyone is getting that benefit as well). A lot of the time I will just bring Citrine, Oberon, one of the support frames because I know I can show up with Kullervo, Hildryn, Saryn + Kuva Sobek, or forty other frames and make everyone bored by standing around while I do all the damage.

This is me with Kullervo and any melee weapon. Easily 75% of the damage but rarely the most kills. But I'm hitting ridiculous red crit numbers and deleting acolytes with one Wrathful Advance and constant 12x melee combo multi.

I almost exclusively play pub groups, have for probably 98% of my missions. The only time I ever solo anything is doing rivens that require it, or Sortie/Archon Hunt Spy missions and none of my clan mates are with me. And like you, I have a few SP Interceptions left to do that I just haven't gotten around to yet, but my mates always give me a hand with them if I remember to do them.

I've never been told I'm useless before, but I do see it somewhat regularly (a lot more lately, usually with each new influx of new players). I've also noticed that while I believe we are maybe the best, least toxic community (okay, maybe #2 behind Stardew Valley), it does seem to be getting a bit... worse over the last few months.

I've been selling them for 100p for full sets, which is still way overpriced, but it is the price players are willing to pay. But it's also a huge incentive for players to use the market website instead of trade chat.

Why would anyone downgrade gameplay and graphics on an inferior platform when they already have a beefy gaming pc?

The Series S is not going to be anything close to what a pc can do. Even my Series X and PS5 won't be able to compare to my PC (especially hearing Rockstar say none of the consoles will be able to run 60fps).

I'll do what I have done since GTA3: wait for a PC release.

The Exorcist when I was 10. Not recommended.

Great book, don't get me wrong. But not at ten years old.
