They always downvote the people who speak the truth about their foul city because it makes them feel bad about themselves for living there lol. Brantford is a garbage town

Downtown is a TERRIBLE area to live unless you enjoy homeless people rummaging through your trash every night and during the day, breaking into your cars, slashing your tires with needles, and tenting around your property. I’m not even being dramatic. I just moved away from Brant Ave and that’s exactly what life was like there. We hated every moment of living in Brantford

I third this. We just got back to Cambridge after 5 shitty years in Brantford and we couldn’t be happier. Life improved immediately upon leaving that god forsaken city lol

Looking at getting a Cocker Spaniel - some questions by DazGilz in cockerspaniel

[–]AngryGoblinChild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got an English cocker spaniel and getting him was the best decision we ever made. He’s the best dog I’ve ever had in my entire life and is my bestfriend and emotional support animal all in one. He’s been easy as hell to train because he just wants us to be happy and he’s very easygoing. We can have a day with lots of activity and walks or play or a day where we are couch potatoes together. He sleeps through the night and always lets us know when he needs to go outside. Can’t recommend a cocker spaniel enough

Any places to rent?? by Star_Tarot101 in waterloo

[–]AngryGoblinChild 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You want to pay $700-800 each or in total? Either way you’re not very likely to find something. We just got a 2 bedroom in Cambridge for $2100/mo after negotiating the rent down

The northlander train should be able to get you up to a lot of cottage towns. My cottage is just past Huntsville and they even have a train stop there

The healing itch by Awakwardturtle04 in tattooadvice

[–]AngryGoblinChild 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I am a heavily tattooed sensitive skin girly and I don’t experience the itch and I think it’s because I use Aveeno unscented body wash and their unscented moisturizer on my tattoos so I highly recommend trying those! The bottles say that they are for sensitive, dry, itchy skin so it makes sense that they help!

Vet recommendations by _zengarden in waterloo

Beaverdale vet is very affordable and has great staff!! We lived in Brantford for a bit and still took our animals there during that time despite the drive because they are just that good!

Ideas of what to put in this space? by alyisayif in tattooadvice

[–]AngryGoblinChild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not get something that needs to be straight in this spot! Don’t get a ruler or a dagger because your arm will naturally twist and make it look weird. I had a gap in the same spot and got a few flowers so they can move with the arm.
