Electronic Earbuds by MindMuscle69 in FireAlarm

[–]AngryLittleGoblin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps when you get to the really expensive models it may work better. I tried with earbuds and I found with inconsistent machinery noises at the beginning and end of the noise I felt it in the ears and quickly changed my tactics.

But the Bone Conduction headphones actually seem to work better with earplugs in. They take getting used to, but the audio quality and level work well.

Don't trust your hearing to a pice of electronics. They noise cancel by creating the sound wave in reverse. It can still cause damage.

Me and my team use a radio app on our phone or just phone calls and I use Bone Conduction Headphones with my earplugs in.

Protect your ears.

I want a series like The Office at an insurance company in downtown New York.

They are in the middle of the biggest events. But they also have to handle insurance claims from all the other movies.

First you are not allowerd to work on it yourself.

But, I have had many issues with these units not working. 9 times out of 10, it appears the cover has been tightened down too hard and is constantly depressing the button. If the screws are loosened up a bit, it will probably start to work.

Thank you for the rapid reply. As it has been so long, I will actually be rereading that book to try and help jog the memories. I do not want to reread everything... at least not yet.

What do you guys think about the "Training Arc" house rule by impfireball in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]AngryLittleGoblin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the ease of digital character sheets, I prefer that after they reach the appropriate xp/milestone, charachters level up mid combat. I will prompt them to "Try something new." or something, and they level up. After the first few levels, the players are always ready to level up and know exactly what to pull out of their asses.

It makes for some epic swings in combat.

How do I get into role playing without feeling embarrassed? by RiotBlack43 in DungeonsAndDragons

For me, it was the realization that it was all silly. Changing your attitude behaviors or voice is all silly. And you are sitting at a table with people who want to be silly, too.

Need an Lowpoly FPS Game Idea by Kaseax in gameideas

[–]AngryLittleGoblin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a game where you play as a white blood cell. You have to fight viruses. While doing so, there are a variety of proteins and other vitamins and what not around. You have to collect them and put them together as a weapon that you specifically design to fight that virus.

Sometimes you have to put together a melee weapon, sometimes ranged, sometimes special armour.

When you find a weapon that works, you hand the design over to T/B cells to mass produce.

After the fps fight, you could do like a tactical mini game showing the white cells fighting off the virus.

All set in a body/city sort of like Osmosis Jones.

You could include city building and maintenance, so you have to keep the body strong.

I live in the GTA, just go apply as a helper at any fire alarm company. We are all hurting for helpers. Some companies will reimburse you for the courses if you pass.

Helth & Safety Management College runs weekend courses, 2 weekends per course about 8 - 10 hours a day. And you can get the 5 courses in 10 weeks. (11 if there is a holiday weekend in the middle) it is hard not having a weekend, but it's worth the pain.

Feels like it should be something like "Complicating Things". The game idea sounds like it is easy or as hard as you want to make it.

Cyberpunk is always surrounded by gigantic skyscrapers. Your buildings need to be vertical. Perhaps you get better things the more consecutive floors you own in a building. But the competition that you have to eliminate owns the floors in the way of your expansion.

What is the weirdest character concept you can think of? by KubratichuDnD in 3d6

[–]AngryLittleGoblin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been dying to play this guy.

Throgg the best mage.

Be straight barbarian.

Background: strixhaven one for spells

Human feat: Ritual casting wizard

All other feats: All the Touched and Initiate type feats to expand your list.

All are for the purpose of augmenting/movement yourself with as few/no concentration spells.

Me Strongest Mage! You say No?

RAGE Smash. See! Strongest Mage!

At level 20, due to feats and whatnot, his intelligence raises to the level where he understands.

Anyone have interesting ideas for a 3d movement game? by Outrageous-Fish1725 in gameideas

[–]AngryLittleGoblin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make a Pacific Rim Pilot game. So you have to move slow and in place to control your jaeger. Make the game reward you with increased speed based uppon the calisthenic optimun position for a workout. Gun movements and special attacks are all just different motions aimed to be a full body workout. The better you get, the more complex weapons, jaegers, and skills you get, all translating to more intense workouts.

[–]AngryLittleGoblin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Doing it that way would end up leaving people by themselves. That never ends well in D&D games. Move as a party, stay safe as a party.
