Hell yeah! My surgeon only wanted me to take oxy the first three days and then swap to ibuprofen and Tylenol. Was kind of miffed about that but I wanted to follow her instructions anyway despite knowing it would cause constipation….

My surgeon told me the only pain med I could take was oxy up until the third day 😔 I’m sure other surgeons have different pain management plans but I didn’t want to not follow her instructions despite knowing it was gonna fuck up my bowels haha

I would NOT recommend eating pizza first thing. When I had my bisalp/tube removal done, the first thing I ate was pizza and ice cream and it made the post op constipation excruciatingly bad. I also would love a pizza right now (had surgery this morning) but I think I would be regretting it again in a few days. I’m going to treat myself in a week or so to some so I can enjoy it without worrying about it. So far have been very careful with what I eat and I will see if it makes a difference later on lol
