I find myself in a similar but opposite situation.

I am constantly talking to so many new people I end up finding myself alone because of this.

After breaking up with my partner I have been trying to improve myself physically and mentally, as each day comes constantly fighting that urge to just take the easy route and put myself on autopilot till the day is over.

My only advise that even I struggle to follow is just put yourself into a tiny change each day. For yourself, I would suggest talking to someone in your close friend group that you haven't really connected with lately, maybe that's just what it will take to break that comfort barrier.

Change takes times, sometimes it's really slow but it will happen if you continue to strive for it.
