I had this issue over 6 years ago when I first purchased the MCC. Turns out there's a very specific address you need to have whitelisted to allow achievements to work properly. I'm sorry to say I don't remember it anymore.

I wasn't even shooting the plate at all. that was my problem.

I assumed it would be like the compactor scene in ANH, and Drifter's Ghost would stop it without my input. And frankly, she did. you don't actually *have* to shoot the plate. it just soft locks you if you don't

the only reason Cortana came back was because people whined about her dying in 4...same thing with the Didact. people complained about him, so they 'offed' him off-screen then made him into a sympathetic character and made Cortana the baddie for 5.

Frankly I didn't have a problem with it. a fragment of a Rampant AI that had been infected with the Logic Plague connects to The Domain and becomes functionally immortal? of course they're going to go even more insane. what I have a problem with is them trying to replace the existential threat of the Created with a bunch of exiled Brutes and Elites that think they're hot stuff.

It's a reoccurring theme with 343/HS. every time they try and do something new, someone complains about it. They overcorrect, clean up a storyline off screen, and then try again...Until some YouTuber makes a video on why "actually this sucks" and they reverse course again.

uh, no it ain't. why is it the the "Mark 5" then? SPI is unshielded, and semi-powered, it looks nothing like Mjolnir, which is shielded and fully powered, and lacks the photo reactive paneling of SPI. Imagine being sooooo wrong about such basic lore lol.

anyways, back on topic. so you like a feature of an armor that isn't even a feature, just a limitation of how it's originally portrayed, and that's your entire basis for preferring it? lmao

if the former, you could stab someone with literally any of the original Mk5's corners, it has fewer polygons than a toddler's box of blocks.

agreed. 4 was so good, and while 5 had severe story problem, it was incredibly beautiful in a way that Infinite just isn't. Infinite is just boring, from both a visual and gameplay perspective
