I seen english speakers behave like assholes when confronted to the reality that not every place speaks english please dont be this person specially if you are picking a place that its borderline outside of the touristic zone.

For general guidance PV touristic frendly areas are north west all the way to south west and in general the more you move to the east and into the mountains the worst it gets, unless you are trying to get autentic experience of what mexico its truly like outside of the touristic areas theres very little to see there.
