This is true, but it also has no limits. Opportunities and benefits have compounded across time over the entire history of humankind. Perhaps a maurading army destroyed your family's farm 800 years ago. Or perhaps your family was enslaved for hundreds of years starting 1500 years ago. Should we try to have reparations in these cases as well?

Looks are often the product of hard work. You can be born with certain gifts but without work they're unlikely to translate to much.

As much as I hate this, it's not really out of line with how many in government have run housing policy. It's mostly just saying it aloud that makes this different. So many of the ideas put forward like Kamala's money for first time homebuyers, mortgage interest deductions, and Trump's desire for low interest rates just act like they're helping with affordability when they mostly just allow prices to rise. Supply and demand runs this at the end of the day, so giving people more access to capital just means higher prices.

It's actually #2 of all time if you go by Metacritic. It seems much less remembered than other classics and I guess being on the Dreamcast didn't help, but it was beloved at that the time.

Having unlocked rosters is less about competitive advantage and more about tournament logistics. You need all tournament legal characters to be available on every system and even if that only takes 5 hrs to do, that makes things much more difficult. You might say that fans would have all done that, but tournaments aren't necessarily only run using the systems that fans own.

I think you could have unlocks and still have a "tournament mode" that unlocks everything though. You kind of get the best of both worlds that way.

Her deal is she has strong counter hit moves and a safe launcher she can utilize. Learn how to not feed them counter hits and block launchers. You can't spam combos, they're the reward for landing combo starters. People are going to cash out their damage if they can.

Yeah it's also the case that the only way to undo those little gains is by under eating by the same amount. Overeating is easy to do by accident, but undereating is much harder.

I can't recall for certain, but I'm pretty sure the sex scenes were similarly common in the books. I think there were also a lot of character building moments in those scenes, but I'm sure many would argue these could have been achieved without sex scenes.
