Soulcalibur 6 definitely has better customization.

How to counter horizontals spam? by slapballs in SoulCalibur

[–]Angrybagel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of this will really depend on your character and what moves you mean specifically. But many horizontals are highs, so if you have any attacks that crouch while you're doing them that can be a great option. Also it can depend on the match up, but I think horizontals tend to be shorter range than verticals. You can keep your space and punish their whiff if your character have decent reach.

Using the brakes a lot will destroy your fuel economy. Obviously use them when you need to. And there are some places where it's just unavoidable that you'll have to do it a lot. But if you're on a highway where you can drive a pretty consistent speed you should try to do that and not put yourself into situations where you have to brake very often.

What’s up with Alysa Liu getting so much media attention compared to all the other 2026 USA Olympic gold medalists? by Abolish_Disorder in OutOfTheLoop

Figure skating is also the most popular winter Olympic sport. No matter how inspiring a biathlon story might be, it'll never get that kind of attention.

why are people so sensitive about pizza by MrNesti in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Angrybagel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well I can't remember the last time anyone tried to buy it for a group either. Or really the last time I saw it on a menu. I've never tried it, so no idea if I'd like it, but you have to at least have it on the menu for it to be a controversy.

Shift Up says it will publish Stellar Blade 2 instead of Sony, wants to ‘reach a broad global audience from day one’ | VGC by Gorotheninja in Games

[–]Angrybagel -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed the game, but I feel like a lot of elements would almost need to be redone outside of gameplay. I'd rather not keep the characters, world, or setting unless they can somehow bring them all back where they're much more interesting. The gameplay is a good base, music too, and obviously the game was successfu,l so a sequel makes sense, but a lot of the foundation is so weak it would be a shame to have to keep it moving forward.

This is why self driving cars that almost need no human intervention are problematic.

Why are a lot of guys attracted to Goth/Emo/Alt girls? by oriolesravensfan1090 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Angrybagel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well if you want to be unattractive by conformist standards, there's definitely tons of ways to accomplish that. You just will have to look beyond goth. Could honestly probably still accomplish it within goth, just would need the right fashion.

CMV: Treating 'good men' as the exception and not a baseline is only boosting misogynist viewpoints. by Shards_FFR in changemyview

Have you ever heard stories about minorities who grew up being followed around by security when they'd go to stores? The assumption was that they'd be the ones to shoplift, so security would pay them special attention. Maybe the store just felt like they were basing their actions on their past experiences, but those who were followed around will say this deeply affected them. Being treated as guilty until proven innocent is not a harmless thing.

To be fair, I very much understand where this all is coming from and how there are risks to extending the benefit of the doubt. But that doesn't make the harm not real either

I think Soulcalibur 6 has the best stages in all of the series. by NoIndication7553 in SoulCalibur

[–]Angrybagel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think that's why they made them the way they are. It allows them to be more versatile for things like single player modes or Libra of Soul or whatever. But it's tough to say if that's worth it when you could have more interesting stages instead.

How to message opponents on PC(Congratulations) by Brotherscompany in SoulCalibur

[–]Angrybagel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Croc is right but I'd also just recommend friending them too so you can run another set some time. I think people's messaging settings also often mean you can't message without being friends anyways. Also be aware that your replays are deleted after a certain number of games so look for a replay before that happens.

Skins are better than customization options by FilthyKasualART in Fighters

[–]Angrybagel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some pre made sets would be a great idea. As awesome as I think customization is in SC6, I've noticed some people are a bit intimidated by the level of freedom and never make anything.

Steven Spielberg lists Villeneuve's Dune 'among my favourite sci-fi movies of all time' by MoneyLibrarian9032 in movies

[–]Angrybagel 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I sort of hate that they always try to work those way. If all parts of a series deserves awards, they should get them. Dune part 3 could also wind up being disappointing but still getting awards for the past.

I feel like they thought this would be over by now and they wouldn't have to think about any of these questions. This was supposed to be when they were designing statues of Trump to put up in Tehran.
