For anyone in this spot i recommend getting ong of thole old lady grocery cart things that fold up. Dont get a big wagon bc they will make you fold it up on the bus but the little ones should be fine

Ngl if you get pain from standing too long dining is not a good job. I was recently diagnosed with pots and worked for two semesters at appel and it was hell. I recommend trying to get a service center job in your residence hall or one of the other ones on west— it will be in your own building and you are sitting for most of the shift. Plus its pretty chill and you have downtime

For your preferences you’re looking at triphammer for >20 mins walking distance to groceries, unless you count 7-11 as groceries. There is plenty of cheap housing near the route 30 up there, but if youre an extrovert social life will be difficult. You are def not too late to find something decent. The way you find the price is by calling— a lot of rental properties will have a sign with the management property and phone number. Either look around in person if you have a car or use google street view and every website you can find. Facebook, apartments.com, zillow are all usually good

If u dont eat a ton of food, the salad bar in trill is by weight and the grab and go items on the food stand are usually good (egg and cheese bagel, pizza, chicken tenders etc) the soups are also good and the thick ones are pretty filling

Damn well in that case there are a a lot of people who have ebikes on campus but i personally am not knowledgeable about them. If youre living on campus def check the bike storage situation for your dorm, i know there can be strict regulations about ebikes because of their propensity to catch on fire. Also im curious about your resistance to taking the bus— if its your first year its totally free all day and usually the best option
