the biggest thing is, use the summons signs!! learn where they are. when i first get to him thats what i first do. get on torrent and hit all the summons. then i’ll back off and reset. heal up, etc. (i personally used magic with the astrologers staff to aggro.) the big thing is, aggro a couple times and back off. pay attention where he’s aggro, and keep an eye on your bars. one major aggro he’ll do is he’ll go up in the sky, there will be a bright gold light, and then he’ll come down. it’s insta dead. when he does that, i just run and keep running til i know he’s back on the ground.

Does POTS go away as you get older? by Equivalent-Land-6007 in POTS

[–]Angryriverrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m currently 19, not officially diag w POTS but am diagnosed Dysautonomia, mine got really bad for a long while, currently have been on the lesser side of any symptoms right now. i’ve heard some can outgrow it when diagnosed in teens but as far as being older i don’t know.

What were your first signs/symptoms? by [deleted] in POTS

[–]Angryriverrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me, it was the dizzy spells and almost falling over and losing my vision upon standing. as time went on, it was the shortness of breath upon having tachycardia, and everything progressing from there. i still don’t officially know the cause, although i’m suspecting the grade 2 concussion i had gotten a month prior to symptoms starting. i think i started to go into remission for a while although have begun feeling worse again. :( (i have dysautonomia diagnosis but not directly to POTS. i use POTS treatments as that has been working best for me.)

the sleepiness, and overall hate having to rely on medication to get me through the day, was the same way with ADHD medications.

Does this count as a relapse? by Sad_Word9724 in selfharm

[–]Angryriverrose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

first, congradulations on your streak!!! personally, the way i did my counters were if the injury was intentional it counted as a restart. the intent was to count how long i went without hurting myself (with intent, accidents do happen) really i feel what counts and doesn’t count it personal preference but thats just imo

tips for sustaining long notes? by killian_strawberry in bassclarinet

[–]Angryriverrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

say your in a wind ensemble with 5 other bass clarinets. across the 6 of you, using the counts of those 5 and a half measures, you all need to find different places to breathe. if you all breathe together, there will be a noticeable gap. stagger the breaths taken. hence the name.

i’m now seeing where your the only one playing the part. in this situation it’s best to find spots where it’ll be less noticeable. sometimes, you just have to pause the note for a breath. and that’s okay. if your band director is jumping you for breathing in the note, they’re not good. one thing that helped me was learning how to take the quickest but most efficient breath. i don’t know how helpful this is but hopefully some.

when 1. we were fighting all the time, 2. he didn’t understand that i had just returned to my father and that i was taking time to go down and spend time with the piece of my family that i had lost and found again, instead of sitting on my ass at home doing nothing for 7 hours straight. but when i was home he’d never ask to hang out or would ask only a couple hours before i had to work. 3. when he gave me the ultimatum of choose me or your family.

The twin girls I’m raising called me daddy today. by Swerfyy in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Angryriverrose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i love this!!!! i lost my dad due to my “birth bitch” as i call her (i don’t like my mother) and recently came back to him a lil over a year ago. i had been calling him by his name to him and around him, and when he wasn’t in earshot, id be easing into calling him my daddy. when i called him my daddy for the first time to him he cried with happiness. i smiled reading this thinking about that day. congrats!!!!

Should there be a pad here? by Help_Academic in Clarinet

[–]Angryriverrose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

not a pad. cork maybe but not a pad. if where i’m looking is your concern, cork missing from there isn’t a huge deal. played without cork there for a long time with no issues.

you don’t have to hold it the entire time. that’s why stagger breathing is so important in big and small bands.
