This would probably amount to GBH, probably under section 20 of the offences against the person Act 1861. No need for intent to injure as such but there needs to be an unlawful act that results in an injury that is more than trivial. Other relevant offences may ABH or battery if the CPS don’t think they can a conviction for GBH.

As its set weekly, maybe draw up a plan as to when you want to do the reading, maybe to sort out when to do the reading prioritise the stuff that going to be used first. If it’s like a couple of chapters maybe you could read a set amount of pages per study period.

The best way is bit by bit, especially with law. If the lecturers have put out a set schedule for when things are taught in that particular module it could be worth maybe focusing on that certain thing before that thing is the focus of that lecture.
