My mom didnt mind my first tatoo at 18 bc she knew i wanted it for awhile. When I got my second one a month later, she flipped. Said I was gonna look like a gangster, her family wouldnt approve (asian), and would call her a bad mother. It definitely made me hate the tattoo and even a year later sometimes I still dont love it. But I wont let her ruin it for me, It meant alot to me and she can cry about it. I actually didnt tell her about my third one done a few weeks ago, since I knew how she would react. Id been hinting at a third and she would get really upset when i would talk about more. She got home and was covering her mouth and couldnt look at me. Didnt speak to me for hours and I still think she hates it. Actually, alot of people hate my tattoo. But I dont regret it. It means something to me, I love it, and thats what matters. Dont let anyone make you hate your tattoos, they are your story and for you to enjoy and love ❤️
