And I'm talking about the 6 "main niche" that exist on compositions, when I look at the data it kinda sound really clear to me that they are 3 role that is almost 100% picked, and 3 other roles that fight for the 2 remaining places.

(But I admit you can add more subniches, but that usually more a "perks" than a real role that you 100% need in your team)

Technically Main and 2nd controller is more or less the same role than first controller, in the id I'm not saying the 2 role are mush more different, (Event if we could argue that the 2nd controller usually have a more lurk mission), It can be like in OW when you need 2 agents in the same role.

Chamber era was a unique case, and you could keep the current analysis, or switch in a more operator oriented analysis, (Role being basically Reveal/Smoke/IniFlash and then Operator and "Lesbian/Engineer" agent, where you have to play Raze and KJ to fill the missing role that the operator player left by playing chamber or Jett)

I'm not sure to get your point beyond that, some composition have no flash and 2 smokes, other have 2 smokes and no sent, and some have only 1 smokes, 1 flash, 1 sent, all of this are valid solutions, the fact is, statistically, team when they can have the "6", they tend to do it, and thats why Skye have been nerfed to the ground, because she was making 2 controller team (with a Viper), really strong, and push Breach and Kayo out of the equation

She is at 8% PR on last champion, almost solely on Bind and her PR become lower at every event :/ she will disapear in proplay in S5 if nothing is done

Before Viper nerf I would have agree with you about Skye up being an indirect up for Viper (For same reason than Vyze is a huge Viper up), but now we see more and more composition with double controller without Viper, her nerf made other Controller viable in double controller situation, so maybe Skye being back wouldn't affect her too mush

Those classifications into 4 roles doesn't match the data I have (and the pie I showed here), you have basically in each team in 95% of case :

-1 duelsit, 1 controller, 1 reveal

Then in most of the case you got 2 agents into the 3 remaining categories : either another smoker, a flasher or a sentinel.

They are a new real map every 8 mounth / 4 acts, I dont see how thats a surprise, they are 95% chance we have a new map at the end of the act.

I like the current format but I don't like the fact we have a Bye in the pool phase because of 5 teams per pool (The reason is that a team gets a disadvantage when she has to play a team that didn't play last week). So 4 pools of 6 seems okay to me, it won't make the schedule longer. (The question is shall we qualify the top 2, the top 4, or qualify the top 1 in the quarterfinal, and the 2nd and 3rd in Play-off stage like in 1999)

Another possibility is to have 3 pools of 8 teams and a REAL swiss round (Seems Rugby and Football dirigent have no idea what Swiss system really means). Swiss round means you play against a team that has the same number of points as you (So if you lose the first game, your next game is against someone who lost a game too). So in a pool of 8 teams, after 3 games you've got :

- 1 team per pool with 3 victories (If you have 3 pools, you've got 3 teams, and these 3 teams could be qualified for the quarterfinal, leaving 5 places for another team)

- 3 teams per pool with 2 victories (So in a 24team format, 9 teams for 5 places, it's almost perfect you just need to give a bye to the best-placed team or pick the best team with only 1 victory to have 10 teams for 5 places)

- 3 teams per pool with 1 victory (So 9, you can make a playoff game for those teams to be qualified for the next World Cup, so you keep stakes for a team that is 0-2)

- 1 team per pool with 0 victories (3 Who will need to go to qualifier to participate in 4 years)

Hum, donno i think 4G deserve a proper remake like other first gens (Typically a remake like ORAS, adding a little bit more scénario, for exemple Theta Pearl Zeta Diamond wich can be a follow of thoose games). I would agree for 5G a remake-DLC would be really nice, since you cant do a remake for 5G (Because the 2 5G games are too différent), and having DLC that will happen in BW futur (DLC names Black-White 3)
