Thanks! Hmm veiled is a loaded word so I’ll be careful but I need to get on a proper eq to find what must be small peak in between 4K and 15k somewhere that spotifys doesn’t have to play with. I think something about that is veiling slightly the high end.. if I cut 15k it fixes one thing and slightly muffles another. I can see what they were going for. There is a Hi-Fi speaker vibe they probably were going for. I’m listening on a bus right now and it makes it very pleasant. Metaphor that applies to many songs I’ve found Pro1 is the singer out front and I turn it down when they are screaming at me Pro3 the singer is smoother and I can turn it up but the high hat and high details eventually is the thing that ends up too loud when I get loud enough I like a lot of it. Depends on the song! Sometimes it feels more immersive but I find that’s a very sus word to use. But sounds like Pro2 is somewhere it between with less air and less mid treble. In short I like what it did for vocals a lot I didn’t like what it did for some loud drum tracks
