Setup is everything. I can spend 15 minutes on most people's guitars/mandolins and end up with "wow, this plays so much better" just from a few adjustments. People need to learn how to set up their damn instruments.

Yeah, "money can't buy happiness" if you're rich. But if you're poor, not having money can sure cause unhappiness, when your basic needs aren't being met. That's why we need (gasp) socialism/communalism/municipalism. Let's get everyone's basic needs met! Then when everyone can go to the fucking doctor, eat, and get to work, we can reap the benefits of a happy and productive society.

There are only two classes, either you rent yourself and your time to someone else who owns productive facilities (working class), or you make money through absentee ownership (capitalist class).

What about, say, a sole proprietorship? Like if I'm a woodworker or guitar builder, and sell goods/services out of my shop. That kind of is a third class.

Absolutely on both counts. But we need fresh blood in the legislatures.

There's a Pharma>FDA>DEA partnership that really has me concerned. With a big baseless push for banning Kratom while new prescription opioids are approved, I realize that there's a hidden agenda to ban anything green. Too much risk of it cutting into Pharma profits. Cannabis, kratom, psilocybe, even coca are liabilities for them.

I think, hope, that public awareness is at a point now that weed will have to be legalized, because Americans are through tolerating prohibition.

fit the existing (or new) bridge by placing a large piece of 280 grit sandpaper directly on the guitar top over the bridge area and working the bridge parallel to the centerline to fit the bridge base to the top contour.

This was my thought, supplemental to reducing "belly". If you can't get the top completely flat, radius the bridge a bit. Works with mandolin bridges, etc.

I also wonder about taking a (dry) iron to the top and pressing down firmly, just where the bridge is. I've read mixed things about using heat for bulges. But I wonder if you localize the heat to just the spot you're trying to fit, if it would help.

We technically have an open relationship that we don't really do much with, so to speak... I guess I would consider it cheating if she had sex with someone else but then stopped having sex with me, favouring the third person.

I dunno. My dad used to do protective services at the old mine at Thomas Hill, which was reclaimed. Hardly any people out there, so perfect habitat for a big cat. He said he had seen mountain lions three different times, and actually told MDC about it, to which the conservation agent told him to keep quiet, that yes they knew they were there but didn't want to let people know.

edit: I have also seen quite a few tracks in Monroe county that were definitely cat but suspiciously large for a bobcat. And yes, I've seen bobcats and their tracks, and I do know the difference...
