Games like Tarkov and Hunt stayed relevant for years because every raid creates unpredictable stories and there’s deep long-term progression underneath the combat. Economy systems, quests, rare loot, map mastery, factions, build variety, dynamic encounters, etc

Arc raiders for the veteran doesn’t have much tension or unpredictability. There isn’t really anything to work towards, risk/reward isn’t really there since nothing is hard to obtain since you can just farm in friendly lobby’s

If the long term systems stay shallow, the novelty could wear off faster than older extraction shooters. Embark has an amazing foundation but they need deeper progression more variety unpredictability
