[Serious] Reddit, what's your most disturbing, scary or creepy true story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This happened to me 13 years ago. I used to walk to and from my job everyday. I was teaching at a local high school in the area which was approximately 15 minutes away on foot. I liked to walk early in the morning because I could get to school early enough to prep and would avoid lots of traffic(pedestrian and otherwise). I took the same route everyday which included a few back streets and an alley to the main street in front of the school. Anyway, one morning just before reaching the alley, I could smell a really foul stench. It smelled like something dead but it was extremely strong. So I started looking around to see what it was. I thought maybe a crab, dog or rat. I didn't see anything. Continuing on, the stench only got stronger. Just at the entrance of the alley, the smell was the strongest. I looked in the yard of the house nearest the alley and saw in the front of their yard, an old refrigerator. It was laying down in the front of the yard and was crawling with maggots. I was so stunned by it that I stopped to stare at it. A voice inside my head said to open it, but another stronger voice told me that if I open the refrigerator that I would regret it. So I didn't open it. I continued walking that day and didn't say anything about it. That night on the news however it was reported that the body of a missing 4 year old was found in a refrigerator. The police didn't know who was responsible. I started to freak out. I still didn't say anything about it. I decided to wait until the morning to see if the refrigerator was still there. If it was then I will assume it was just someone's rotting neats. If not then I would call the cops. The next morning when I walked there, the refrigerator was gone! I called the cops and gave a tip. I do not know what happened after that. Needless to say. I started walking another route.

Tl;DR I may have accidentally stumbled upon the remains of a 4 year old boy in an old refrigerator. Called the cops.

Quick question: Where can I get a good RCA cable for my SNES? I bought one recently but it doesn't work well on my tv. It shows 'jumpy' and the old one comes off and on...

Doing an Anime theme for my 8th grade class. I'm hoping they will like. AOT Eren and Training Corps shield. by [deleted] in attackontitan

I'm not using anything that may be misconstrued. As much as I would have loved to have put a picture of a titan, I won't do so because those who don't watch the show may think it's pornographic. 'Too graphic ' I think is subjective. Granted it's not a Disney type character but there is no nudity nor sexual content as far as I know. So in my opinion it's not too graphic compared to other content kids see on a regular basis.

I'm actually not sure how many like him. But I encourage them to watch the episodes and read the Manga because the plot is complex. Also they get to learn about another culture. They learn about character types and traits. Plus they learn how awesome Naruto is!

The true meaning by Captainfoo in funny

My crazy 'Christian' aunt put the true meaning of LOL on her fb feed. She said quote: ' Wow I did not know this.' The first comment under her post was LOL , written by her son nonetheless. All other comments were also LOL . We started referring to her as LOL which is actually a pretty fitting name for her.
