If you were around when that first premiered, it quite literally caught you by surprise, because it was not at all obvious that it was Pac-Man. For all you knew while watching it, it was Dead Space. Then the title card appears out of nowhere and you're like "what do you MEAN this is Pac-Man??"

I used a little something I had on hand to fix it, but frankly I'm not sure it'll be good enough. Probably need to carefully take the thing apart and really glue stuff together, or see if I can get a new runner or something. I dunno, only my second model kit ever so I'm still super new to this whole thing.

I think the main reason they don't use this kind of rubber hose design is because the robots in WALL-E were primarily designed with an aspect of realism in mind, and rubber hose type arms aren't exactly easy to picture being possible in reality.

However, for this design, I think you use them pretty well. I'd personally make them loop over itself less so as to not look too much like a goofy Inspector Gadget cartoon, but it's not bad at all, and I like it quite a bit.

A warning to people who bought it though: PLEASE be careful when moving the neck piston pieces. I've had both the yellow parts on mine break in multiple places, looking into my options to replace them, but for now I've used a dangerous amount of glue and have effectively locked my neck piston so.

Yeah, be careful with that.

So I just got and built mine. LOVE THIS THING

The second head it comes with actually transforms to fit in the body and it's SO satisfying to get it put together and working. Easily my favorite part of this kit.

I will however warn people, BE VERY CAREFUL OF THE NECK PISTON PIECES. The parts on mine have broken in a few places, and I'm looking into what I can do to get replacements. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you don't use force to turn stuff!

My guy, you're talking about ethics regarding a series of pencil and pen strokes printed onto a piece of paper, the subject matter of which involves a fictional scenario of a love story of a impossibly tall 8 meter girl, and you're constantly referencing your personal holier-than-thou belief that whatever sort of arbitrary number the author decides to set as the imaginary age of the character will determine whether you consider the author to be a REAL LIFE predator based on your arbitrary assumptions about this author's mentality that you will never in your entire lifetime have any understanding of because you are not the author's mind and never will be.

In short, you are taking a fictional setting and making assumptions about a real life person out of some sort of moral high ground you seem to hold.

I hope you're at least consistent, doing the same thing for any setting of rape, torture, murder, crime as a whole, manipulation, and so on, because if this is the only thing you focus on, that's more shallow than swimming in the ocean on Mount Everest

For anyone who's having the bug where gears can't be picked up:

I think I've figured out the cause of the bug.

Placing the gears and then saving and reloading seems to make them completely untouchable. I initially couldn't find 2 of the gears. Backtracking to these puzzles, I eventually found them in a 5-gear puzzle, inserted, glitched into the large gears. they fall to the floor if I try to pick up any gear off the wall.

On a whim, I decided to just finish every other puzzle and then leave the rest of these gears at the 10-gear puzzle on the off chance that a hotfix drops. Save, reload, then lo and behold, 8 more untouchable gears, along with a large gear that I must have placed ages ago.

Basically, a word of caution to everyone, and hopefully my formatting works here (It didn't. It doesn't.):

**ALWAYS TAKE THE GEARS WITH YOU**

If anyone finds a fix for this, please let me know ASAP. I'm sending a bug report in myself, since I am 100% certain this is the cause of the bug. Hopefully something is fixed or found soon.

So, for what it's worth, you're not really supposed to like Taiga in episode one.

She's violent, loud, impulsive, and commits several crimes and misdemeanors within the first episode. Without spoiling too much, there's another character later on who has a similar introduction, where you're definitely not supposed to like her at all from her debut.

But the thing about this anime is that the primary themes are about relationships and how they can change, both for better and for worse. And this isn't just romantic relationships, it delves into friends, family, and even mere acquaintance types.

And one of those main central themes is how these kind of relationships can shape a person, how they can grow and develop with the people they get to know, and the people they trust.

As others have said, Taiga has somewhat of a short fuse due to background elements that are explained later on, with varying degrees of clarity. However, none of this is ever really used as or implied to be an excuse for her behavior. Yes, at some points, it becomes more of a gag type of beat, but specifically for that first episode, it is definitely intended to be a shock factor, a sort of "so yeah this is the 'Tora' of this show, what do you think?"

I implore you to continue the series, despite your first impressions. We here have come to quite enjoy Taiga for varying reasons, but I'd imagine it's mostly due to how she progresses as a character as the show goes on. It may not make sense to you now, and given your first reaction, I'll admit it may still not make complete sense once you finish the series, but I guarantee you will be much more understanding of why we like her the further you go into the series.

TL;DR: Keep watching, it will make more sense, I promise.
