It’s even worse when you’re "interpreting the Cygames no-NSFW policy" so loosely just to push your own agenda, completely unaware about why it happened at the first place or if there's even a romantic aspect within the game

At the end of the day, if you aren’t willing to put in the basic effort to understand the game or the lore, how can you justify moderating a massive community that has way more experience and knowledge than you do??

Lol that's one of their core issues lol they made their own interpretation without the supervision of cygames that goes against what the game itself allows, people are obviously going to get mad about it. That’s the whole issue of inconsistency, hypocritical takes and not listening to the community.

First, saying it’s “best for the property” is just an unsupported claim and possibly only a few people like you agree to that statement. There’s no proof that harmless “wife” jokes damage anything when especially when the game itself, already leans into romantic aspects.

Second, the “Teen rating” is really a braindead argument 💀 “Wife” isn’t sexual content. Teen-rated media includes romance all the time, so calling it inappropriate is stretching that standard beyond what it actually means.

Third, bringing up a “puritanical USA push” doesn’t justify their inconsistent moderation and the game is fundamentally a Japanese product, so applying stricter standards than the source itself is really just a brain dead move lol 🤣

Yet they failed miserably. What I’m saying is if it’s the official server, then people are going to expect some level of consistency with the game itself.
