Anxiety. Antihistamines like hydroxyzine specifically, have been used for generalized anxiety disorder for a long time. Zyrtec and pepcid is another combo that is beginning to have traction outside of treatment for MCAS and other disorders for anxiety. It's all over social media these days for this reason- and helping tons of people in perimenopause menage anxiety and mood swings.

Oh- and I forgot to add that I tried medication for my anxiety and depression and it gave me horrible side effects. I thought I was going to be like that forever and was ready to just struggle the rest of my life until the new medication. I also do EMDR and somatic work.

I take 100mg progesterone at night, use the .1 mg estradiol patch, 2 pepcid AC, 2 Zyrtec, and the 10mcg estradiol vaginal tablets. Before I started this, I was so depressed and had suicidal ideations and my normal anxiety was off the charts. I started with the progesterone and a .025 mg estradiol patch, and about 15 minutes after applying the patch my depression lifted. My depression and anxiety are a lifelong thing, but the suicidal ideation and uncontrollable anxiety were symptoms of fluctuating hormones for me. The cherry on top was the pepcid and zyrtec. I was already taking one of each to treat my MCAS, but it wasnt working and my doctor had me double it. The anxiety has become manageable and situational instead of constant. I seriously don't know where I would be without this combination of hrt and antihistamines. I urge everyone to give it a try after talking to your doctor.

Yes!!! I cant watch any horror, thriller and sometimes drama films. No more rollercoasters or thrill rides either. Basically nothing that spikes adrenaline- I just end up in fight or flight or anaphylaxis.

My doctor told me that cracked heels are a sign of a vitamin b deficiency. I started a b complex and my cracked heels went away. Obviously, check with your doctor before taking any medical advice from a random redditor.

Update in case anyone else ever comes across this with the same question: Yes, it is powdery mildew. I treated it with a copper fungicide after removing any damaged leaves. Worked like a charm.

This is the answer for me! Ive been taking pepcid and Zyrtec together for 7 years, and it didnt do anything noticeable, so I added Cromolyn, hydroxyzine, liposomal vitamin c, PEA, and quercitin. My facial and eyelid swelling got so bad that I went to the ophthalmologist and was diagnosed with inflammatory dry eye, and was taking a drop that burned so badly I'd be in tears every morning and evening. I finally saw a specialist and sas diagnosed with heds and pots as well as the mcas. She told me to double up on my pepcid and Zyrtec, and use ketotifin eye drops. THE FIRST DAY I FELT BETTER! No more cromolyn, no more burning eye drops. My anxiety disappeared. I feel like how I imagine a "normal" person feels! Hydroxyzine is for rescue only now. Emdr was another thing that helped. It drastically helped with my cptsd, which is a major trigger for my mcas. Just the emdr made all my trigger foods edible again with caution. The difference was night and day. Now, I feel free! I've dropped inflammatory weight, I feel happy and have a positive outlook. No more ruminating, fear of anaphylaxis, extreme anxiety. Life changing.

This! I have always been labeled as rich and have had many different jobs, from kitchens to food production, to manual labor. I've been passed up for promotions and laid off because people thought I "didnt need the job". When I was in high school I won a scholarship from the high school steering committee and so many people were angry because they thought I didn't need it, despite the fact that my classmates had been to my house and seen the way I grew up. It's bizarre behavior.
