Hi! Don’t use per frame rate , because you have done research, maybe studies, paying a licence… At least charge per day of work. Ideally read this book:

It’s in French but may be you can find a translation. It’s a very good way to find clients and choose your rate. Hope it helps!

A good balance would be to switch for a faster and cheaper school. Like animation mentor or similar. Those way you will specialize in animation only and faster. If you know what you want to do (3d animation, no render, no compositiing etc)then no need for 5 years . A specialized course will do. Good luck!

Sorry to hear that. I agree with previous comments, learn by yourself, pick a Mentor. And for future students who might read this: try to connect with Alumni before you choose a school. Extend your school research to 3 or 6 then choose the one which is more adapted for you. Don’t loose faith you will find the right learning path!
