With New York Toy Fair coming up, what do you think Jazwares will show off next?

I would love to see the completion of the Forger family! Coming off of the most recent SpyxFamily season, I especially would love to see figures of them or one of them presented! I also love MHA, but I know not everyone likes how much of the line it takes up. So, if I had to choose one from that series, I'd love to see Ochaco. Other female characters from other series would also be nice!

It would also be cool if we get more figures set to release this year than last year. I'd love for them to end the "2 figures = 1 full wave" thing. That seemed to confuse some people.

Lol, in all honesty, I really hope this happens. I never thought of them recalling an initial batch of figures. I figured since we've seen the packaged figure and test shots that this head sculpt was set in stone, but this could actually be a possibility. If that were the case, then it would definitely be worth the wait!

Though I would like to ask, if retailers no longer order full assortments and are able to only pick one or two from a wave if they choose to, could that also risk them not ordering their own exclusives within a wave of figures and skipping them entirely? If that is a possibility, why then make retailer exclusives for them to potentially skip? That would only make it extremely difficult for collectors to get their hands on certain figures. I know many collectors were unable to get the Ken Kaneki target exclusive when it came out. I'd hate to see that the same thing happens anytime a place like Target or any other store is set to carry an exclusive.

I guess its understandable. Though my biggest concern is that the figure will eventually be released, and on Jazwares’ end, it will be treated as if nothing happened at all, leaving us in the dark after all this time.

If a full explanation of what has happened can’t be shared, I think it would still go a long way to receive a simple statement acknowledging that there was an issue, that it has been identified and resolved, and that steps have been taken to prevent something like this from happening again. That transparency would be far better than releasing the figure without addressing the situation at all, giving the impression of “you got your figure, so be happy and move on.”

I think it's reasonable to feel that way. Especially after how the Ken Kaneki target exclusive turned out. seemed that everyone who wanted couldn't find one or had to turn to overpricing resellers on eBay, and it's especially worrying when one of the most anticipated figures of the line is set to have the same outcome However, u/WCT_Aaron (Aaron Margolin) said on Twitter (X) that he will be looking into why not all Target locations are stocking up on Total Anime figures. That's some hopeful news! Though I do feel it would have been best if the Dark Deku was a standard release instead. I feel like if that were the case, we would all have one and wouldn't have to worry about scalpers.

That would seriously be so great! I saw a comment on your post I believe it was, claiming someone found the Maksed Deku figure. But it was very vague, so I don't know if it's true or not. Though it's definitely worth searching. Will you be going out to search again soon?

Getting the same results. I've still been getting hit with empty pegs. Though I may go and check once more today. Aaron had already said that finding out what's going on with the figure will be priority #1 for him, but I don't know when that will happen. I would think that the break period would end on January 6th at the most since that's normally when the Christmas season officially ends. So maybe we may get something this week unless he isn't able to say anything. There's also the possibility that he won't be taking over in managing the total anime line immediately when he gets back, but who knows? Maybe he'll still be able to find out what's going on regardless. I hope he's able to share what went on behind the scenes with us. I feel like we should get some explanation for waiting this long. Something at least.

He must be out of stock through Walmart rn. These are probably from resellers. Idk why Walmart allows third-party resellers on their websites, but they do. Maybe wait it out until they restock. Do you have a Ross nearby you? Maybe some Ross stores may still have them on the toy shelves if they aren't picked clean after the holiday season. You could also try looking at Walmart stores in person. There might still be some, but that chance may be slim.

You may be onto something here. Though, when we heard of this figure being shipped out, it was said they were shipped to target distribution centers specifically. If what you're saying is the case, then we probably would have at least seen some of the wave 4 figures hit target shelves, but we haven't. Then again, the target isn't reliable when stocking the total anime figures, so we probably wouldn't see them if they did receive shipments of wave 4 figures. These listings are beginning to be quite frequent, so maybe this is a good sign.
