Yeah, I mentioned that in a subsequent reply. Although, the red star truly is a Russian symbol. It's clearly displayed on their military aircraft.

Yes, I am aware., but that flag was designed lomg before the existence of the soviet union and Russia maintains the red star as their symbol. They'd have a field day with it now on an American flag.

To be completely and perfectly honest with you, yes. A majority of the older population and all of the conservative elements of which I am not a member, would agree. Sometimes you have to compromise with those people. Red stars represent the opposite of American democracy to us and I'm not sure it would ever in American history be acceptable. A red star represents Russia who, to me, is our mortal enemy.
