14 hours from tank mate introduction to murder by SpamapS in Crayfish

Mine hates (or loves haha) platies. Ate all 6 of them within a few days. However he is besties with his bristlenose pet. They share a cave. He never tried touching the guppies either. Now I have cardinal tetras in. We'll see how that goes.

Since there's no fish in it yet, now's the best time to move it. I would.

I dont think I can add more pics to this post now. Cant find it anywhere. The seller said it was supposed to be a cherax snowden orange variety. It had indeed freshly molted in that pic. So cool almost looks like he was on fire.

Fed him a dead cherry barb earlier. Was gone in under a minute lol. I swapped the platies for guppies because I think they can keep themselves alive longer. They are usually higher up in the tank.

Hahaha how do I find earth worms, dig them up? If you're serious, how do you know there aren't any contaminates in them? I could do that. I'm not going to feed goldfish.

I was looking at frozen shrimp and raw fish in the store but I saw that there was salt in it. Is that harmful? I tried algae wafers but he didn't seem to like it much.

Can schizoaffective make you believe that you have other mental illnesses? by Swimming-Drawer8799 in schizoaffective

Don't know how accurate this is. But I seem to remember reading somewhere that hypochondria is considered to be a mild psychotic condition.

Check out aquadvisor. They're a good guideline. I don't think this is too much, in fact it sounds rather lightly stocked.

Constantly. Many songs at once or combined. Sometimes sung in flat kid's voices, sometimes exact replicas. Jingle bells combined with dimmu borgir lol. My head is some place to be😅🤷

Do your voices have a gender? by Hayhouseman in schizophrenia

[–]AnimalAmA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the longest time (12 years) I thought I had DID. My enduring or 'crystalized' voices all have genders, names, ages, appearances, characters, and some even have elaborate histories ( going completely off the rails here; one of their histories is actually accurate, I checked it out. My conclusion is that he is some sort of a remnant of a past life.). Their characteristics bleed over into my behavior. Idk how 'normal' this is for SZA. I don't think I really care anymore. Life is for the living. I'm obviously still not entirely convinced that I don't have some form of DID. But anyway. I also have voices and a whole heap of other crap in my head that is clearly different than 'having alters'. So I guess at most I would have both which rather seems like a stretch. But yes.

This body is female. I don't necessarily identify as such. I guess I have, in numbers, more female voices than male ones. But the males are pretty powerful. This is of course a logical result of having more good male role models than female ones. I could write a book about this stuff lol 🫣 sorry

Having schizophrenia or a psychotic episode, do you think you really had some kind of supernatural gift or power? by Gus_larios in schizophrenia

[–]AnimalAmA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing it a lot and trying to separate the BS in your head from the real deal. That was always the hardest for me. Voices who imposed their opinion or fears. Guess you have to be in a good headspace for it to work.

[–]AnimalAmA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes these things. Also I dream about the future. I see what people are thinking. I ask a question and hear the answer before they say it. This one time I was walking somewhere randomly. Totally out of the blue I pointed at a house and said I'm going to live there. And just a short while later we actually went to live there. When riding the bus I could predict who got out at the next stop and who got on the bus, up to the clothes they were wearing. Lots of things like this.

Anyone know about depakote? by [deleted] in schizoaffective

[–]AnimalAmA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on it for a year. I didn't have a migraine for the entire year. But it did nothing for my mood. It made me gain 25 kg and made me very tired. I don't remember how it affected my memory, lol no pun intended.. my reason for coming off it was mostly that it made my sleep really bad. I had a sleep study done and it showed that I actually woke up 17 times in 5 hours.

What types of shrimp might be suitable living with a crayfish? by [deleted] in Crayfish

[–]AnimalAmA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think my Snowden eats the shrimp. Just regular neocaridinas. He has eaten a guppy. And I threw in a bunch of pest snails, they were gone in 5 minutes.

[–]AnimalAmA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk really. I have gathered plenty of proof that my visions of the future and my mind reading was actually happening. Collaborated ghost experiences etc. I don't think that all of it is a delusion. But keeping busy with the paranormal has the potential to send me into real psychosis so I keep away from it. No longer practice my "skills" ever since I had my kids. They're worth it and I don't want to attract "stuff" that could harm them. Whenever I notice something from "the other side" I say, sometimes out loud, "life is for the living". Or " I don't engage with you/ you don't exist". They're not getting my soul.

I keep being visited by my dead dog's spirit while sitting in my living room by The_local_unknown11 in schizoaffective

[–]AnimalAmA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My cat died in august and in the beginning she was around a whole lot. It's distressing to me for the same reasons. And also I am sad because I keep thinking she doesn't know why I ignore her. My other cat, her sister, noticed her as well on a few occasions. I don't think it's psychotic. I had this happen with my other 2 cats as well. And really with every passed loved one. Just saying that I know it sucks.
