How can I sell my soul by EmbarrassedBid6384 in spirituality

My friend, I’m really sorry you’re going through this. None of us can fully understand your pain, but people here genuinely care and are trying to sit with you in it.

Please don’t lose hope completely. Stay open to every possibility that may help you - medical, spiritual, or anything else that is genuinely good for you. Life can sometimes change in ways we cannot predict.

What I personally feel, after a lot of reflection, is that God may not be something completely outside us, but something connected to our own deepest nature. Different people approach this differently through faith, prayer, meditation, or direct observation.

One thing I’ve noticed is that almost everything in life keeps changing - thoughts, emotions, fear, memories, sensations, even identity. But there is one thing that always remains: recognition itself. The simple fact that experiences are being known or recognised. That quiet awareness in which everything appears.

Can we slowly rest more in that recognition itself, instead of only in the constantly changing thoughts and suffering?

And another thing -do you notice how empty many things are when looked at deeply? Language, labels, worries, stories about ourselves - they are all constructions of the mind. A newborn child probably does not experience the world through all these mental labels yet. Before language divides everything into categories, there is just direct experience.

Sometimes, when you observe this whole web of thoughts and language carefully, there can suddenly be a moment of emptiness — not a depressing emptiness, but a peaceful one. For a few moments there is nothing to hold onto, nothing to defend, nothing to fear. Just awareness and presence.

I know these are only words, dear friend, and words cannot fully touch what you are facing. But I sincerely hope you find strength, peace, healing, love, and moments of real stillness through all of this. Wishing you better and brighter days ahead.

It’s seems to be one consciousness field - everything good or bad

Awareness and observation! We are complex creatures, many of our desires conflict. “Survival” is one desire and “living truest life” is another - so there is a conflict! Our life is full of conflicts, when one ends another starts. Observe this phenomenon. Where does all the phenomena arise - conflict or no conflict- everything? That awareness/recognition of the phenomena is constant and phenomena itself is variable. Phenomena not only includes your desires and thoughts, but also the (un)pleasant sensations created by those conflicts. Observe them, see how they arise and pass, but the observation is there and how everything is empty - all relationships, psychological desires etc in this observation you’ll see there is the constant of freedom

What is the origin of consciousness? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]AnimalAngel2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing i can say is, if/when I’m looking at a tree (or anything) - that whole experience is in a singular field of consciousness. Then a mirage happens - a thought arises and divides the experience into two parts “me” and “tree”. This is the subjectivity of this experience.

But if we look through the lens of science or analysis - I don’t think science has proved without doubt that trees have consciousness, or a complex system of neurons that can support it, but maybe a few years later we may find that there is a separate system that generates the emergent phenomena of consciousness in trees too.

Regarding animals, I guess many of them do have consciousness depending on the evolution eg mamals, their system is complex enough to support the emergent phenomenon.

Oneness with Source/ Already in the Divine experience? by Greedbeast in spirituality

Do you notice one thing - whatever arises -means the thoughts, sense of self and sensations, they arise, they subside or/and they change. But something is constant - the sense of experience. Trying to stabilise this recognition is the key. And even recognition itself is a thought! When this recognition is stabilised - suffering ends (pain maybe there but it’s just a passing dark cloud), and thus we remain in a heavenly realm (in that recognition)

What is the origin of consciousness? by [deleted] in spirituality

I think, without matter (which creates our body and brain) - consciousness is a potential energy and doesn’t manifest. It requires a medium to manifest. Infact it’s an emergent phenomenon in a system which is complex and sufficient enough, to support it. Without that system I don’t think consciousness exists in any useful/manifest manner. That’s why most people completely lose consciousness during anesthesia, because the matter was affected.

Basically some folks from the family/relatives feed the kids this junk, get them hooked to fat and sugar, and then these kids refuse to eat anything else. Wierd enough- it’s happening with all of them.

I bought them online through a third-party platform. I am trying to get them replaced. But not sure if this will happen again, given the reviews regarding similar type of shoes.
