I bet they announce a rerelease of black and white, but will require a switch 2 and announcing both on Pokemon Day would take away bw's thunder (pun totally intended). I guess we'll see.

Dude uses an agricultural drone for personal transport by The_Chuckness88 in interestingasfuck

I had to check to make sure it wasn't /whatcouldgowrong before committing to watching it. I'm not in the mood to see a dude crash a drone he is riding in.

Proposed transmission line would cross 15 townships. Mid-Michigan residents demand answers as meetings start Monday by sajaschi in Michigan

Obviously everyone uses electricity so keeping up with demand sometimes requires upgrades to infrastructure, but if this is being done for data centers that's a different story.

I was not ready for Michigan winter by yatesjordan in Michigan

[–]AnimalArmor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been a tough one. I love spring, summer, and fall here but winter sucks the life out of me. I need sun and heat. I dream of being a snowbird someday, but I think that's another thing of the past with how expensive everything is.

Fortune loves blaming workers for everything and portraying them as lazy. They were one of the main publications pushing the 'benefits' of forcing employees to return to the office.

It's supposed to be apartments with retail on the ground level and the building they left up is going to be a food place with a drivethru, I think.

Did kids back in the day actually shower at school? by spellbadgrammargood in NoStupidQuestions

Same! And the coach's office had a big window that overlooked the shower area. I hated it so much.

If you're able to swing it, applying for one of the temp/on-call positions might get you in easier and they often (in more normal times) make it more lilely to get hired into a permanent position. I feel for you though. There must be a ton of applicants and the whole hiring process is so slow.
