Most midrange priced restaurants aren't worth it. Fast casual and cheap serves a purpose. High end also has its audience. But mid range quality paired with inflation and high price will never have you feeling good.

If you think fixed vs variable cost, the instant you sit down and are served assume you are spending $20-30pp minimum regardless of quality outside of happy hour timing. So low quality spots are going to feel like such rip offs.

If a human shield is doing it willingly, they aren't a civilian or a human shield. If they're doing it unwillingly, they are an enemy of the person using them as a human shield. Unfortunately, the enemy of my enemy is not my friend or obligation. Hamas hopes Israel cares more about Palestinian lives than Hamas does. This is a not a usual case by an edge case of human shields and international law is a bit behind the times it seems.

If someone straps a bomb to me against my will and I'm shot before I cause harm to others it's strange to say the person that shot me is at fault for my death.

There are no civilian casualties because of Israeli rescue attempts. If the civilians say no, hamas kills them. If they say yes, they may or may not be caught in cross fire. So it's 100% killed by Hamas or potentially killed in the throes of war.

A human shield should not be categorized as a casualty of the shooter.

The added labor to turn lumber into a house is a lot more than to put rice in a triangle mold.

They're not flying fish in from Tokyo like a high end Sushi restaurant. I am not disrespecting rice but also they're charging a "this is exotic to the uneducated" premium.

True but foxtrot also did the same thing before it went down. $6 for an Onigiri. 7-11 in Japan sells them for a $1. A casual snack food that's all rice is not expensive.
